Canada | 29 May 2024I've written a review of this company before but there is another change in how these clowns operate. When buying a .com domain for the first time they charge $15.99 and in small writing below this price there is now the statement that renewals will cost $21.49. This is probably one of the most expensive prices for .com domains anywhere on the net. By comparison Porkbun charge $10.99 for new registrations and renewals, which is whom I have been transferring all my domains over to. For the poor customer support (emails only on the weekends) this is way beyond unacceptable. Responding to the response of the 29th May from OnlyDomains: I am NOT comparing apples to oranges and to infer it is insulting. I made a post about the PRICE of DOMAIN NAMES, not anything else. If you decide to offer other services that's fine, but don't force others to pay for your expansion into other service areas - they should pay for themselves. Onlydomains have become one of the worst registrars on the 'net - nearly ALL registrars that charge what you do have 24/7 telephone support, not some BS email only service for weekends and telephone support Mon-Fri. You want to play in the same sandbox as the big boys but offer horrible support (or non-existent I should say) on the weekends. Whoever owns your company is someone who has no clue how to run a successful business. How many others have got fed up with the crappy weekend service and have decided to move elsewhere?
