It was nice to go to a car sales and not be hounded just left to look around and told the staff was there if and when needed. I would recommend Nathaniel’s to anyone and certainly recommend Gwyn :)

United Kingdom | 22 June 2024After my nathaniel MGZS was t-boned & written off after only 10 months. I was gutted & needed to find a new car for work. I had a look at the MG’s they had in stock & fell in love with a few of them but knowing I’d have a shortfall of finance to pay off my old MG, I know I’d have to look for something slightly cheaper. My searching brought me to the Nissan Juke. I’d never considered one of these before but it was within my price range. I spoke with Dan @ Bridgend who was absolutely fabulous. He let me take the car for a test run (not one of these to the roundabout & back ones) I brought it home & discovered with the drop floor I could get 2 golf tour bags & a stand bag & various drivers and woods (too long to fit) in the boot without having to put the seats down. I did have to remove the parcel shelf but that’s no biggie. So me and my lads can still go golf together with all our equipment & still be seated comfortably. The added bonus is that it’s the Bose edition with a killer sound system that with the boot space was a selling point for me. It’s lovely to drive, the dealing from start to finish was amazing. Dan (a trainee at the time) was fantastic & I’d highly recommend seeing either him or Terry who we dealt with last time. He was so patient while I tried to sort things with the other car finance & juggle this one, never pressuring me into a sale. I’d highly recommend going to Nathaniel Bridgend as the whole team (another trainee whose name I didn’t catch) talked me through the controls & showed me how everything worked, they are fantastic team & customer service is amazing.

United Kingdom | 22 June 2024Initial contact and visit to view car would get 5 stars Collection only gets 3 stars as car had to be found, i had to walk to post office to tax car and when i started engine i had warning message displayed stating OLD FUEL FILL WIOTH AT LEAST 10 LITRES ASAP Very disappointing as this should have been seen when serviced or car moved for collection

United Kingdom | 18 June 2024I honestly don’t know where to start. I have never dealt with a company with such bad customer service & after sales care, that I have with Nathanial’s Bridgend. I purchase a brand new MG Exclusive (72 Plate). Since January 2024 my car has been back to them not just once or twice but FIVE times. Twice of which I’ve needed to be recovered by the AA. Problem 1: Clutch failure. Car broke down and needed AA recovery. This is now a known very common problem with MG cars and i was told there was a recall due to this fault (nobody contacted me to inform me of the recall). Problem 2: Wiring issue. All the drive assist features went faulty. Problem 3: Stop / Start system failure. Problem 4: Wiring issue number 2. Same issue with the drive assist features (not to mention the Apple Car play only wants to work as it should when it feels like). Problem 5: THE DRIVE SHAFT FELL OUT: yes the drive shaft fell out, while I was at a red traffic light. Again needing AA recovery. The AA worker said “It’s probably the clutch as it happens all the time with these cars”. He was actually shocked the drive shaft had fallen out. He told me the amount of problems these MG cars have is astronomical. This is where I currently am, I’m now going to be waiting at least another 2 weeks for my car to be back on the road. The communication from the dealership is next to none & I find myself chasing them to be informed of any updates & time frames of my car being ready. There can be no communication for weeks at a time & not to mention, at times the rude / condescending attitude(s) I’ve come across when trying to complain about the service. I have now lost all faith in my car & MG as a dealership. The best that they can do is offer to buy my car off me at book price (£6,000) less than I paid for the vehicle or let me part exchange it for another more expensive or pre registered vehicle. I would avoid purchasing any vehicle from this dealership as it’s likely you could end up in the same situation as myself. I’ve purchased many brand new cars from many different dealerships over the past 22 years & Nathaniel are the only one I would ever recommend to avoid at all costs. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!! EDIT: Just to address the response from owner. I have mentioned the lack of & wrong communication issues given (was told part needed would be in today, then today I’m told it’s not going to be in for at least 2 weeks). I have also mentioned to a staff member I spoke with on the phone about the lack of communication & that the previous member of staff I spoke to 5 days prior was quite rude. It’s amazing how they can respond to a negative review in under an hour but can leave you for weeks with no communication. Even the response is condescending: “Enjoy the courtesy car” I’d like to actually enjoy my car, that I paid a vast sum of money for. Instead of having it go back to be fixed nearly once a month.

Thankfully we had amazing customers service off Nathaniel who helped with our predicament even though it wasn't their policy to do so. Phoebe supported us with ever enquiry and went above and beyond. Great communication and companion throughout the service. We can't speak highly enough about the customer service we have received in the two short years of going there. Definitely be continuing customers of theirs.

A test drive was arranged within 24 hours of us calling into the showroom and we took delivery of the new car within 4 weeks of the test drive. All the staff were knowledgeable and polite and I would highly recommend them.
