On the advise from our electrician who told us the relevant down lights and LED bulbs to purchase for installation in the bathroom and bedroom. Looking at the numerous websites for the above products I found the ease of the Downlights Direct website and most definitely the cost of my required products most satisfying. Delivered in good time and on-time for installation.

Ordered an item - subsequently told not in stock after my money had been taken. Website does not advise when out of stock. Now struggling to get MY money back for an item they cannot provide - AVOID.

Good products but some difficulty in getting them and more importantly poor communication to advise on availability and delivery etc. Currently have order outstanding for over a week, no idea when it is being delivered and no response to my emails.

...the items came in a box that was much ;larger than required. They were put in the bottom with air bags loosely piled on top, so no protection for the items either from the side or the bottom. The box was not sturdy and was completely stoved in when I got it. Thankfully the items seem to have survived, but I have not installed them yet to know. The company did inform me the items were not in stock and had been back-ordered, but they still arrived within 4 days - and right before Christmas.

Not impressed; I ordered 2 downlights as advertised on the website (no mention that items are out of stock etc), paid £5 postage for quick delivery and all I got 2 days later was an email that my items are out of stock and everything is delayed. I addressed the issue of the lack of information on the website when ordering and got only a response that the lights need to be ordered from Sweden and the bank holidays will cause delays...I could have bought the lights in a local store already

Excellent service - bought the wrong bulbs first time but very easy to change them for the right ones following advice of staff on the phone.
