After spending many years overseas, I was looking to give my home in Edinburgh a complete refresh. I started my research online before my return to Scotland. I narrowed my options done to three local companies. In the end I went with EKCO as I felt they listened to my needs and I had several recommendations. The drawings produced by Heather and Hollie are almost indentical to the final result. The handleless kitchen is a high gloss white, similar to the display in Livingston. Your fitters, especially Neil are true craftsmen. Unfortunately there was a slight delay with our chosen siemens oven, but I was provided with a temporary model. I have the correct model now. We had our kitchen redesign and installed by EKCO. The design looked great on paper. With the kitchen now installed it has exceeded our expectations. The fitter worked hard and liaised with us throughout installation. We went with a Pronorm kitchen, appliances from Siemens. Top quality finish, Looks amazing, thank you.

So, all I want to say is thank you EKCO!!!! Being overseas and having to manage a rental property is one thing, but trying to get a kitchen and bathrooms replaced - exactly when I need it due to changing over of tenants is another!!! Ekco you were brilliant. Probably a big ask in the first place for you to get the keys, survey and get the designs everything over to me then skype calls to get everything confirmed? A BIG ask but you did it - thank you so much. So after confirmation and with some pretty tough deadlines you did it. 2 new bathrooms and a kitchen that's probably all far too high quality for a rental (but has that KBSA guarantee so I don't need to worry) it is all done, looking amazing and new happy tenants moved in. They since told me they want to stay on too - proves it works to invest back into the property to get better tenants. Anyways - THANKS! Mike

We were previously customers who had good service and product in the past. Naturally EKCO were our preferred choice. The design process was great and Kevin was very knowledgeable. We signed up. That's where things went downhill in my opinion. The tradesmen were good but there was a real lack of communication between management and the team on site. I was constantly picking up issues and having to report them. Ok everything was resolved but when you are paying top end I don't have to expect to project manage as well. The finished job is ok but not brilliant. Silicone lines are rough and the tiling/grouting could be better. I also had to chase up test certs and after 2 cleaning requests did it myself. Attention to detail not there and real lack of contracts management. I would have expected better. A one off? Well our friends and my sister both had similar experience but I ignored their advice! On the whole I think they are a good company and I did write to them to tell them what went wrong, sadly no one seems to care, well that's our experience. We went on to use another Livingston kitchen and bathroom supplier on our other projects and they were fantastic. I would like to add the EKCO designer was brilliant and we feel sorry we could not progress with other works.

We had our kitchen fully redesigned by Ekco, we looked at some of the well known suppliers: B&Q, Magnet and specialist kitchen designers in our area but found Ekco to be better value than all of them. Top quality finish, service and superb installation team made it a pleasure to deal with Ekco. We went with a Pronorm kitchen, appliances from Siemens with a Corian worktop. Looks amazing!
