From the start they were very helpful; they had some great ideas as to how it would be best reconfigured and the best worktop choice for our budget. When the work was underway the team were friendly, professional and completed it in great time. There were a couple of snagging issues but these were resolved quickly and stress free. I would recommend them as a company, especially with this type of project.

United Kingdom | 24 April 2022Having enjoyed 8 years of trouble-free use of my bi-fold doors it was a surprise to find the entry door difficult to open. A call to Craig at ECKO resulted in one of the installation engineers visiting the next day to diagnose the problem. Brian quickly discovered that the bottom hinge was broken. After reminding me that the bi-fold doors have a 20 year warranty, he said he would order the replacement parts and return to complete the repair. However, to minimise my disruption and allow me to continue to use the doors, he adjusted the doors to work better. Within a week Brian was back and not only replaced the faulty hinge and running gear but replaced all the external rubber seals and ensured all the doors were working perfectly. Once Brian was happy that the bi-fold doors were operating “like new” the repair was considered complete. Brian called Craig to inform him he had finished and delivered further good news to me that the repair was free of charge. Great service from ECKO and I have no hesitation recommending them for bi-fold doors (and kitchens as I had a new one installed by ECKO in 2010)

Kerri, the designer, was excellent (and extremely patient with my changing requests) and all of the tradesmen went above and beyond to match my exacting requirements. There were a couple of snagging issues which Robert kindly sorted out for me and also some delays along the way but all in all I would highly recommend EKCO to other customers.

United Kingdom | 26 March 2022An overall positive experience dealing with EKCO. We had a mix of sliding and Bifold doors plus a large fixed window. Quoting and ordering process was straightforward, and a pleasantly short wait time. Communication was good throughout. Was a little surprised about full payment being asked for before work commenced, but they were flexible and allowed a retainer ( all be it quite a small one ) until work was completed. Installation was well done by a happy pleasant team, who explained and discussed any issues with us. Only complaint was the lack of dust sheets to cover our furniture which all got covered in concrete dust. We would use EKCO again and indeed recommend them

United Kingdom | 14 March 2022We could not recommend EKCO. We were deeply dissatisfied with the quality of service and lack of professionalism provided by EKCO throughout our building project. Our building contractor placed an order for bi-fold doors, a glazed side door and window. Delivery lead time quoted to us was 6 – 8 weeks. The order was eventually fulfilled 5 months later due to a series of unnecessary delays, misleading information and complete negligence from EKCO. On each occasion the delivery of the doors and glass was delayed, we were required to postpone other contractors – builders, floor fitters, paving suppliers, roofer and decorators on 4 separate occasions. All of this caused significance stress and inconvenience to us and all our contractors. Our building contractor also suffered reputational damage due to being unable to complete the project on schedule. Throughout our building project EKCO failed to acknowledge any fault on their part, not even when they supplied the wrong profile of glass for our side door or when they apparently inadvertently “threw away” (their explanation!) the glass for our long overdue bi-fold doors – that meant they had to order new glass which caused even more delay. Correspondence with EKCO was unsatisfactory with emails and telephone calls ultimately being unanswered. it was clear having received full payment in advance, EKCO lost interest and took no ownership in resolving the numerous issues caused by them and their chosen manufacturer. At no point did we expect to have to liaise with ECKO directly at all, far less with their chosen supplier. However due to the repeated delays and fact EKCO had “washed their hands of the issues” we did require to have direct dialogue with their supplier, which was difficult as they were unhappy about being asked by EKCO to speak to the end customer (us). EKCO basically passed the buck to them. The fact a letter of complaint took 4 months (and numerous chasers) to respond to and was entirely dismissive speaks volumes on how EKCO conduct business and value Customer Service. We remain surprised that a Company that sells itself as award winning and family-owned treats customers in the way ECKO do. We have since discovered our experience is not an isolated one and explains why we could not recommend this Company and why our excellent Building Contractor refuses to deal with EKCO.

United Kingdom | 01 March 2022Decided like many during COVID to look at a kitchen renovation. After previously using Ecko for a new en-suite we were impressed with their showroom and kitchen options. As we were extending the kitchen into our garage and installing a bi-fold door Ecko co-ordinated all the work and trades. Due to the pandemic we did experience some challenges with delays to supplies. Callum and the team back at the office were always contactable and keen to work with us as the supply challenges were resolved. The site team’s were also brilliant and their workmanship was excellent. We are delighted with our new kitchen which has really changed the space at the back of the house, giving us an open plan dining and kitchen area.

Hollie was great during the design phase and was able to talk us through all the different options and adapt the design to our requirements. The team that installed the bathroom were friendly and efficient. We have had a few snagging issues (no fault of EKCO) and EKCO have been great at having someone in the team come and look at these and fix them.

I visited multiple showrooms but chose Ekco based on their fantastic product and design service. The fitters were clean, tidy and communicated with me daily on the projects progress. I would highly recommend using Ekco and we’re even planning our next project with the team.

United Kingdom | 23 February 2022Showroom was great with a good variety of choices that were of great quality. Staff were great and very helpful with the full process. However, I would recommend have moving more shops across Scotland or in my area as I had to travel quite a bit of distance.

United Kingdom | 23 February 2022Went to Ekco after trying a couple of the mainstream brands who were extremely uninspiring. First design meeting with Ekco blew me away, almost exactly what I wanted! The quality of the kitchens was also excellent and Kerri was great at getting us the perfect design. We had a few structural setbacks which delayed installation and our fitter fell through. Katie was amazing at helping us to source a new fitter who could do the work really quickly, which was amazing as we were really struggling to find anyone. Great service all the way through and they go above and beyond!

A quick trip to the showroom and we knew we had found the perfect solution- a door with finger print recognition- perfect for when my son forgets his key. The bath was removed and replaced with a shower unit and the floor and walls tiled. Huge thanks to Hollie for the design and to the fitting team for going the extra mile to finish on time and to a high quality. The whole process was stressless and we can highly recommend Ekco. Iain

United Kingdom | 07 February 2022I received an email from Trustpilot on 22/2/22 with a request from Ekco to yet again change my review.. Citing the guidelines "Including someone else's personal information in your review goes against our guidelines. Personal information includes names, phone numbers, addresses, email addresses, and anything else that could be used to track, identify, contact or impersonate someone" It should be noted that first names of Ekco staff have been used in the positive reviews including the first names of these two directors..... It should also be noted that no such request was made after my first review, which was potentially less scathing. This also contained a name ...... Therefore why am I the only one being asked to conform to these guidelines and only on this occasion? Both names are readily available on the public domain government site "Companies House". I have not provided any details on how to access this information in detail that is for the individual to work out.......I accept no responsibility for the capabilities of other people. I am not prepared to be continually backed into a corner by this company nor am I prepared to basically gloss over who was involved. I therefore have complied with the request by changing names to Mr # or Mrs # where appropriate. It makes me wonder exactly how valid are all these reviews if this is the pressure they apply. Jan 2022 Further to my review January 2021. I was asked to provide an update to my original review....so....as requested by Ekco, here it is. We finally filed a complaint with the KBSA, despite sending photos and also details of the behaviour of one of the directors, more of that later, they could only offer independent mediation. Certainly not on the consumers side... I emailed Ekco regarding mediation and to give them a final opportunity to put things right. Having spoken to Mrs # (director) by phone, she didn't advise us of any imminent visit. Next day Mr # (director) turned up. Despite my customer details clearly showing I was immunocompromised due to cancer and had been shielding, he thought it appropriate to be less than two feet in my face with no mask on. Despite telling him I needed my husband to be present due to chemo brain he basically said so you're refusing to talk with me. Tried to tell him my husband was working from home upstairs and could he arrange a convenient appointment. He said I'd had my chance. He left yet despite being several feet from my door seemed to think he could clearly hear me talking to my husband as he returned after I had closed the door. He rang the doorbell continually until I opened it and said I had used the "f"word to his back which I hadn't. Put his foot in door and kept it there despite being asked three times to remove it. Still no mask. My husband heard my scared voice and as he was coming down the stairs I told Mr # I would be calling the xxxxxxx. He took his foot out. I have agreed with Mrs # to say no more about what transpired. Suffice to say we didn't see Mr # again..... Mrs # then visited along with works manager, agreed sealant was an issue (due to how surface had been cleaned by the installation team according to works manager), sink water pressure wasn't great but apparently if wet wall panels have a gap that a business card couldn't fit in this was acceptable. Must carry extra thick cards is all I can say. Supposedly an industry standard! Couldn't find this anywhere on internet. Mrs # left, leaving works manager, then he left and she returned supposedly to bring a brochure. I went to sit down and while my husband and her were in the hall she asked my husband if I would change my review as staff weren't happy. Well the customer who had paid in full wasn't happy either. After remedial work had been agreed, Mrs # turned up unexpectedly at the house when only my husband was in. She said that Mr # had said no remedial work should be done until review removed. My husband called the office and made it clear that this type of manipulation wasn't on. They backtracked that this was what was meant, however I put it in an email to her that I was aware of this conversation and she didn't deny it. Mrs # was prepared to continue as she agreed the work needed done but asked for an update to review after it was completed. I agreed but only after several months passed to see how remedial work held up. Remedial work carried out August 2021. Sealant replaced...... Now coming off round shower tray and other areas.... Again. Potential for leaks round shower tray. Water pressure was improved by fitting of another tap. Wet wall panels still have unsightly gaps. My overall thoughts...No company should be trying to manipulate customers into changing reviews. I bitterly regret the day I chose them.

United Kingdom | 21 July 2021We had two bathrooms redone 3 years ago,can’t fault the workmanship and the tradesmen that fitted the bathrooms 10/10 well mannered,professional and they even clean up after themselves ,couple of months ago two of the taps metal tops started to flake off .we contacted EKCO and Hollie the original designer arranged for to new taps to be ordered and replaced as they were still under warranty great service even after 3 years thanks
