David did a fantastic job on a site with difficult access, but more importantly, a very reluctant tree stump. There were several heavy duty metal pieces embedded in and around the stump. He worked incredibly hard and diligently on getting everything removed. Very impressed overall and a great person to deal with! A great hassle-free service to remove unwanted stumps. Darren did an excellent job today in removing a number of stumps from our property. He quoted from a description over the internet, set the date for the work within a couple of days of my enquiry, and completed the work to an excellent standard, leaving the area tidy. I am now able to replant with ease. He was really reasonably priced as well. I have no hesitation in recommending and would definitely use his services again.

We had seven stumps to be removed. Paul called round to assess and we duly booked an appointment. Paul arrived on time and set straight to work. Within a few hours all were removed. Even after a second visit the stumps were not down to the level needed. Quite apart from the enormous damage to the patio slabs incurred by your machine.

I have never had a stump removed before so didnt have a clue what to do or say when I first spoke with Paul from Stumpbusters! But he made me feel really at ease and offered to pop round for a look at our stump first. After his first visit he kept in touch to try and arrange a convienient time for both of us. On the day of removal he arrived on time, performed the work (whilst protecting our fish pond from wood chippings!), tidied up after himself and was done in around an hour and half. I highly recommend Stumpbusters, and have no reservation whatsoever in using them again or recommending to friends and family.

We had a tree cut down but were unexpectedly left with the stump. One tree surgeon told us it might not be possible to remove the stump due to it's being near a fence; it stuck out quite a way into our small garden. Steve made quick work of removing the large stump to well below ground level, with all the major roots also gone, so that we can plant another (less enormous) tree there again in future. Access was a bit awkward but he managed this really well. Phew!

This was an awkward job with restricted access which required lifting a heavy machine through a conservatory to remove five tree stumps on a small bank . Steve gave a quotation on the phone from photographs that I sent. Although the job was more awkward than he anticipated - and very hard work in the rain- Steve held the agreed price. Communication was efficient and polite. Steve and his assistant worked hard, protected their surroundings and cleared up after themselves. I only anticipated grinding to just above ground level but, despite the difficult angle and weather, the stumps were removed well below ground level Stump grinding is not cheap but, looking at the task, this was absolutely excellent value for money and conducted professionally throughout. Thoroughly recommended.
