Paul ground out 3 large oak stumps carefully avoiding surrounding plants. Left the area tidier than it was! Thoroughly recommend.

Wayne managed to squeeze my relatively small job into a busy schedule and turned up on time whilst I was on holiday. He recorded the whole operation on a time lapsed video and within a few hours of the job being done I was watching it in Bulgaria. He protected my shed and greenhouse with screens from flying debris and thoroughly cleared up after himself, including raking my lawn. He was happy to put the invoice through the letterbox with his account details and I simply transferred the money this morning upon my return. The biggest surprise for me was that the large stump had completely gone as I was only expecting a lower stump below ground level. I had received several verbal quotes all well over £1000 but no one committed to an exact cost. I looked into hiring a grinder and in looking for a machine I came across stumpbuster.co.uk and called and left a message. Andy called me back and I explained there were around 100 stumps to remove ranging from 50-400mm in diameter. He said it would be best to do the work on a day rate and gave me the cost per day. Booked him in and by 12.30 on the day he arrived he has finished. I asked Andy how much I owed and he did not charge enough, in my opinion for the hard work (and money) he had saved me. I had to barter his price up to £300. I have already recommended him to the local golf course who paid £600 to another company to have two stumps removed and part of them are still there. It is not often you come across someone who totally exceeds your expectations. Stumpbusters West Yorkshire certainly did for me.

The work was carried out very efficiently with the minimum of mess. The drive and lawn were hoovered up with no trace of the mulch afterwards, it was just left on the soil. Brilliant. Andrew came when he said he would and the whole process was carried out in no time. I would certainly recommend him.

A quote was given and this was the price I paid. All work was carried out in a professional manner and was much quicker than expected. Robert was very pleasant throughout and as promised, the area was left tidy and advice given on where to use the mulch.

Arranging the work was easy via the website. Robert gave me a quotation which was slightly more than half the one given by a local tree surgeon. Robert arrived when promised and worked steadily until finished, when he then cleared up the mess to leave the site tidy. I would recommend him without hesitation.

Just had a collective of various stump removed, very pleased with the work carried out, polite helpful, no bad language no loud music, what more can I say. Great service. The only downside is not having a mulched or the ability to take the rubbish away, but not major problem.

Steve arrived at set time. Although the stump was in a very small and confined space he didn't make a fuss and got on with the job, even managing a small flight of steps with the heavy machine. Very impressed with screens and boards used to minimise the mess and the way all was left reasonably neat and tidy. Very impressed with the price and would certainly contact him again if I need to!!!!

Excellent experience today. Arrived as promised, did an excellent job and cleared up very well. I would strongly recommend him! It has saved me hours of backbreaking hard work, and removed an eyesore of a stump from a very tricky position with absolutely no collateral damage.

The service that Andy provides is 5* from start to finish - he was quickly round to quote us a very good price and just a few days later he fit us in and our garden now looks neat! Would have no hesitation in recommending him. I would say to anyone don't be put off asking for a price, I assumed the well known name would come with a high price but he was much cheaper than a local man offering the same services.
