I've engaged Alan on two separate occasions to remove large tree stumps in awkward situations. Both times he delivered a very professional service in a timely manner, taking care not to damage existing garden and landscaping features. I would thoroughly recommend Stumpbusters having already used them on two occasions.

I spoke with Steve from Stumpbusters just a week before we were due to go on a weeks break. Within that week Steve had popped round surveyed the works, quoted and booked me in. The date booked in was actually when we were away so it was agreed that keys would be left to let himself in to carry out the works. I heard nothing on the day of the works, apart from a message to say he had completed and the keys returned with everything locked and secure again. I asked Nigel to attend my property in West Swindon to remove a stump from a tree I had cut down at the weekend. He arrived on time, removed stump no problem and cleaned up afterwards. All for a very reasonable charge. Couldn't have been better.

Stump busters arrived on site early, worked without a break and left everything tidy. They do not however remove the stump chippings. I have another stump in a particularly sensitive site which will also need removal and will certainly ask them back

Les was very busy, but arranged to attend to our work quickly, an appointment was made and Les arrived on time and carried out the work to a high standard, ensuring the tree stumps were removed completely even one right next to a wall, which was not damaged at all in the process. Stumpbusters took out about a dozen mature laurel stumps for me. They were punctual, professional and very thorough. They were cheerful and friendly and worked very efficiently to do the job. The work was very reasonably priced. I would have no hesitation at all in recommending them to anyone.

Friendly, accommodating, on time and quick. I asked Nigel to take around 10 stumps out for us - he was able to quote on the phone . When he came over to do the work one or two more than what I originally told him about but still not only he removed those, he still stuck to his old quote. Overall I am very happy with his work and the service. Already booked him for more work in late August.

I had a conifer hedge which had to go, cut down the main parts myself but the thought of digging out the stumps brought me out in a sweat before I even picked up a spade! A quick search brought me to Mark and I booked him to do the job. It was all done while I was at work and when I got home, all the stumps gone!, the relief was huge that I didn't have to do it myself (not that I'm lazy of course!!). Peter is quietly efficient and very careful. if you want someone that will rip the guts out of an unwanted tree stump but don't want your lawn and borders wrecked then this is the Wright man. I've used this local franchise twice and if I have any more unwanted stumps I will not hesitate to use them a third time. What more is there to say?

Moved into our new home a year ago and we had 30 tree stumps in our back garden which we wanted taken out. We found stumpbusters on the Internet and Mark turned up on the time agreed and he worked non stop for over 3 hours in awful weather. He was very polite and worked hard. After cutting down 41 trees in the garden of the house we had recently purchased I initially tried to dig the stumps out..........after two days and a bad back I rang Stumpbusters Mark arrived when he said he would, with all the equipment and removed the stumps along with the roots in just over two hours leaving the soil beautiful and ready for replanting. Mark of "Stumpbusters", Elvington, Yorkshire, in the last week of April 2016, quickly responded to my enquiry for the removal of 3 tree stumps at my home in North Durham. Over the phone he gave me an acceptable price, and a day when he could attend to the work, and his expected time of arrival. He arrived at the scheduled time and quickly set up his equipment. The work was quickly completed to my total satisfaction, and as a means of showing my appreciation, and, after his equipment was removed from my front garden, Mark was given a steaming mug of tea and biscuits to enjoy. Should I have any more tree stumps to be removed I would not hesitate in inviting Mark and his equipment to do the work, and equally I would not hesitate in recommending him for "stumpbusting" work to anyone who needs this type of work attending too.
