Capital Repairs LTD are the biggest bunch of cowboys, Their operative came out and diagnosed a problem with a Disabled Lady's cooker and said he would return with the part to fix it, Never came back and then claimed a Health and Safety issue I would not tryst Capital Repairs to strike a match. Just read the reply from the alleged MD Gary Pearce and to say speechless is a understatement, The dogs do not go in the kitchen area only the dining room, I asked for sight of the pictures that your engineer took and there is no evidence of dog excrement or urine in the pictures the kitchen area is untidy because the person is disabled. And yes the dog there is 14 years old and very fragile and your engineer frightened him and he had a small accident which was quickly cleaned and mopped up, As for filthy disgusting conditions I would remind you of Slander/Liable you and your engineer are claiming unlike the lady who's house you visited I am at this stage welcoming you to make a formal reply and then I will look at seeking a legal opinion as to the next course of action as it alarms me that your engineer waited until he was alone to take pictures of this lady's house without asking or advising that he had done so makes me wonder as his parting words were I will order the parts and come back and fix the cooker when he had no intention of doing so. We would not have known had we not enquired as to when your was going to return it was only then we were told you had shut the job down without informing us. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL I MUST SAY SAYS A LOT ABOUT CAPITAL REPAIRS LTD.

The engineer (Charlie) obviously knew what he was doing and diagnosed the fault very quickly. His demeanor was professional and he was a credit to your company.

They charge an initial fee to visit and then fix which works well as they quote it in advance. But they also charge a huge markup on ordering spare part and they will not accept if you get spare part yourself (even if original manufacturer part). In my case they charged me 3 times the online price of original Bosch part while the one they finally put was not even original. I had no option but to let them do it since they already charged me service fee at first visit. Other than that the engineer was good and process is easy.
