PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME Had an issue with my wine cooler. Called capital repair to send an engineer out who did a diagnostic assessment. He advised new parts would be required to replace the existing. He told me he wouldn't be able to replace the parts from the back due to where it was situated. Did not want to be liable for any damage and said that I must do it. FAIRS. However when I called them up again they advised me they would be able to remove it. The same engineer got called out who said he would not be able to do it and that he had been misinformed. Then I got a third party handy man service to remove the cooler from its place. another engineer was booked from capital who showed up with the wrong parts! then they had to reorder the correct parts which wasn't in stock which arrived after 5-10 days. 4th time engineer was booked, however on the morning of the appointment they told me the parts were damaged and that they had to reorder them. Waited another week and a half for an engineer and parts. To then be told AGAIN the parts have been damaged and would need to be rescheduled. another 2 weeks later, on 16th august they left me a missed call to say they would have to cancel again due to shortage of engineers. During the process of all these call outs, when you call the centre the person on the phone fobs your off to 10 different people. Seems like nobody can be bothered to take any accountability. Staff are having to life through their teeth to retain some kind of accountability. This was the final straw so I asked for a refund which they credited me for the parts yet still charged me for the call outs for the engineers. Worst company ever, absolute cowboys. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE POSITIVE FABRICATED REVIEWS.

Didn’t fix it. New parts had no effect. Took hours for ‘10 minute job’. Made it worse than before. Don’t answer phone, don’t reply to emails. Now having to replace whole thing when it was just a bit noisy before!!

Awful service / misleading phone number Washing machine was making a strange noise, but still working. I phoned Capital Repairs (a local landline number - I've used them many times before) on 10/07. I later found out repairs are subcontracted to Pacifica - very misleading! The engineer came three days later, took the machine apart and said it needed a new drain pump. After putting the machine back together it didn't work anymore. 'That's a shame' he said. I ordered the part on the following working day (15th) and was told by the call centre worker that it would take between 2 and 5 working days to arrive. When after 7 working days I hadn't heard anything, I phoned up again. When I mentioned the 2 to 5 day timeframe the call centre worker said 'Who told you that? It wasn't supposed to arrive until the 31st but it has in fact come in this morning.' She then made me an appointment for 4th August (a 10 day wait). I made sure I was home on the 4th but the engineer did not turn up. I received no message. I tried to phone repeatedly the next day but could not get through, so I went to the local Capital Repairs shop whose number I had rang in the first place. They said they'd email a person called Julie to contact me. No one contacted me. The next day, I did manage to get through to the call centre only to be told to ring another number. The next person initially said I hadn't paid for the part (I had). She booked an engineer for 14th August. I asked how I could make a complaint and was told her manager would phone me within 48 hours. They haven't. They've taken my money and left me without a working washing machine for over a month. Awful, awful service!

THIS COMPANY ARE AN ABSOLUTE JOKE THEY ARE.1 UNRELIABLE. 2. A BUNCH OF LIARS. 3.UNTRUSTWORTHY . CALLED THEM FOR A DISHWASHER REPAIR.....EXCUSS AFTER EXCUSS....WRONG PARTS GIVEN TO ENGINEER AND ALSO ENGINEER TOLD ME NOT FIXED AS OTHER PARTS REQUIRED BUT TOLD CAPITAL REPAIRS IT WAS ALL DONE ( SO HER GOT PAID NO DOUBT ) AS I WAS LET DOWN ON THREE OCCASIONS I CANCELLED THE REPAIR AND AFTER THREE MONTHS AM STILL WAITING FOR A REFUND FOR THE PARTS I PAID FOR BUT WERE NOT USED....I AM NOW ON THE PHONE TRYING TO CONTACT THEM FOR THE 8TH TIME AND HAVE BEEN WAITING ON THE PHONE FOR 1 HOUR 10 MINS.....A BUNCH OF CON ARTISTS

Dan Lewis is a brilliant engineer. A REAL engineer and just not a techie. He sorted the awful noise from my Sharp Fridge freezer which I bought from AO.com. Dan’s knowledge base is considerable and he is extremely personable and humble. Will always want him to repair my ‘white’ goods. Most grateful as he has reduced the overall noise level of the fridge freezer. ‘Thank you once again Dan for all your help, knowledge and patience. You really are one in a million and then some!’ Also, thanks to Pacifica, the umbrella company, for their help and for sending Dan. As a final note, Dan’s timekeeping is superb. He kept me informed regarding his attendance timings as did Pacifica.

First I want to say Rebecka I would like to give 5 stars - she finally helped to resolve this & did so quickly & professionally 👍🏻 In short though we’ve been waiting 2 1/2 months to get a boiling tap repair as they apparently couldn’t get the part. We finally gave up & managed to get the part direct from the manufacturer. Part of the problem seems to be their relationship (whatever it is 🤷‍♀️) with Pacifica who were appalling. Repeatedly didn’t phone me back after saying they would & did not reply to my messages & finally when I lost the plot blamed everything on Capital!! Hope I never have to deal with them again!

It is with a heavy heart I write this review. I really do wish my appliance could’ve been repaired quicker and more efficiently. But eventually it took place and all went to plan. I can’t thank Gillian and Rebecca enough for all of the hard work shown in getting this sorted for me. I would recommend capital repairs based purely on the customer service. Parts delay times are awful. At the end of the day it’s been repaired so I can’t complain.

Booked a visit to repair ice machine, gas hob and electric oven. They sent an engineer who wasn’t qualified to repair gas hob ( this was made clear on booking that it was gas) and so we asked for a refund. Ice machine was repaired. Had to wait for new thermostat parts for the oven and for engineer to come back with them which took over 2 weeks, after us chasing. Engineer arrived and fitted new oven thermostat. He left, obviously without checking the oven and the grill was left permanently on - we are unable to switch it off. There was nothing wrong with the grill originally . Phoned engineer who, rather than come back and sort it out said we had to phone head office about it. They said they would get someone to ring us back ! That’s how it stands at the moment. We still have no oven, waited weeks for repair and we have a grill that won’t turn off . Would’ve been cheaper and quicker to go and buy a new oven. I wouldn’t recommend you bother with this company .

Dreadful, unprofessional customer service. All they care about is getting the initial call out fee, after that you are on your own. After 5 weeks, the dishwasher is still isn't fixed. The first repairman, came said it was fixed which it wasn't. Came back the next day to say it needed parts. Parts were ordered, waited 2 wks. Waited in all day for the 2nd repairman to come for 5 min, to tell us the wrong parts were ordered (which I paid in advance for). That was two weeks ago, I have had to call repeatedly, the new parts are still not ordered. Three times I have been told that someone would sort it. The last time they said they would call me back the next day after speaking to the parts dept. They didn't, the half asleep, disinterested customer service person just said parts guy isn't in today. Have given up, asked for a refund was told that the manager John Fisher (I have a feeling he doesn't exist), would have to approve it, asked to be CC'd, of course I haven't been. I'm sure the refund will take at least three more calls.

This was the worst customer service I have ever experienced. We have a newborn baby and our washing machine broke down. It took capital repairs 6 weeks to come by and then the engeneer was wrongly instructed - he thought this was about a fridge. Now I tried to get a new appointment but the person on the phone (Rebecca!) didn’t have any will to help or schedule a new visit. She also couldn’t tell me when I roughly could expect an engeneer and was very annoyed by me even asking. We are now almost 2 months without a washing machine which with a newborn is extremely exhausting. I will never use capital repairs again

Terrible service, Capital Repairs took over 7 weeks to try to repair my fridge then told me they could not get the parts, this was after charging me for some parts which were later found to be ok. No one from the company has replied to me after many atempts to make contact. This seems to be only a call centre somewhere that takes your money then has no further contact. Keep clear.

I have paid over £300 for cooker repair which they have failed to fix. I paid nearly £200 for a part which was the wrong part. They refuse to refund me or give me the name of the manager. It looks like I will have to take them to court.

I am still in dealings with this company as after just under 2 months later I have still not had my oven repaired and despite asking for a refund several times they have not refunded me - they book me in for another appointment which never comes to pass. They have taken £260 of my money and have failed to turn up on every booked occasion bar 1. The one time an engineer actually did turn up he said he hadn't recieved the parts that I had paid for rendering his visit absolutely pointless. They were very quick to take my money and book me in but I have had countless excuses from them. "Sorry our engineer hasn't turnt up, he called in sick". "Your parts got lost in the post so your engineer can't come today." "Your parts haven't arrived at the warehouse yet". "sorry we had your parts yesterday but they must have been used for someone else as we are now out of stock again". "Our courier service didnt get the parts to your engineer on time so your appointment is cancelled" "someone must have cancelled your appointment because you are no longer booked in". I've had enough!! I have asked for a full refund on at least 5 occasions but they are only able to confirm that I would get a refund on the parts that I paid for and not the initial £108 charge. The £108 charge consists of a call out diagnosis and all labour - NO LABOUR HAS BEEN DONE. PLEASE FULLY REFUND ME OR I WILL BE TAKING THIS FURTHER. The ladies on the phone are very polite and apologetic but say that the refund is a decision for the manager to make and that they can't process it. Several attempts have been made to request a manager to contact me but contact has never been made. I have to phone almost every day to find out either why I have had to take yet ANOTHER day off work (about 5 or 6 days this has happened now) and nobody has arrived or why a manager has not simply confirmed my refund so I can take my business elsewhere. When I have phoned, the manager seems to be either "off work today", "busy" or "they will contact you via email". Almost 2 months later & nothing! So no oven working although it's a simple repair, time off work meaning more money lost and no refund! Absolutely unacceptable!! The financial loss this has cost me and time spent following this up is SHOCKING! I will update this review in due course to let you all know the outcome. Olivia. Very good follow up be email to organize the appointment; engineer came on time and repair was very quick; the only thing which could have been improved was to mention somewhere that ETA means Estimated time of arrival....it usually has another common meaning.

Terrible service. First engineer didn't turn up. I had a morning slot but waited in all day as I was consistently told by the office and app that he was coming. Finally, someone admitted he had gone home earlier in the day for a childcare emergency but hadn't let the office know. Another engineer was booked for a week later (earliest they could do) - arrived without the necessary parts (which had been pre-ordered and paid for but had apparently got lost between the first engineer and the second). Wasted a month waiting for this repair including the pre-ordering time. Eventually used a much more reputable company who competed the job (including ordering the parts) within two days and at a fraction of the cost.
