Promised if I paid in full would get discount that was not working on website however not refunded until further phone calls and then wrong refund so still not happy cant be bothered ringing again for £10. Not a good way of dealing with customers. Happy with products but customer service poor. Update received refund, and response in trustpilot was fair, would not want to put anyone off buying from this company as they have responded on all occasions and done the right thing in the end.

Fantastic products, great service! This is the 4th product I have bought and every one is so beautifully made, lasting a lifetime. The scissors could cut through anything so make sure they are kept away from children.

I've always had great experiences when going to the Baker Street store but I just thought I would share how helpful Vishal was today in particular with helping me choose a chopping board. Very informative when asked many questions that I had for him. Would recommend these guys all day long.

Had an amazing experience in store, the staff were all very helpful and informative. After purchasing my knife the aftercare was amazing. I emailed them about a problem I had with my knife which was no fault of their own and they were super responsive and got back to me straight away. They told me to come into the store and got it sorted immediately, they even offered me a free polish for my knife and a discount on my second purchase for the inconvenience even though it wasn’t their fault. They were all so helpful and spent over an hour with me helping me pick my next knife for my collection. I want to just say a huge thank you to Alex, Vishal and Kashyap whose customer care and service was amazing! I can’t thank them all enough, I know I’m not an easy customer to please! Thanks again guys and again I really appreciate all your help! 🙏🏼 I would recommend this shop to anyone looking to buy their first Japanese knife or add to their collection. Sharpening class in a shop we like! We booked a masterclass on Fri 29 Dec at the Baker Street branch. Class was taught by Kashyap who is not only extremely skilled but is also a good teacher and has a very positive attitude! We really enjoyed the class, and learned a lot!
