United Kingdom | 13 February 2024I booked for Andre Rieu + 2 Christmas markets & as much as I like Andre it was the addition of the markets that tipped the balance persuading me to book. The hotel was at Brussels airport which meant an extra 1.5 to 2 hours travelling each way every day to get where we were going in effect reducing the time available to see what we were supposed to be going for. In effect we never went to a traditional Christmas market, we never found any market in Aachen & in Valkenburg it had limited access because it was held in caves so we had to choose whether to eat or get tickets for the market so we ate. The entrance fee for Valkenburg was only 2 Euros so the cost would have been minimal to pre-book the entrance tickets for us even if it was added onto the bill. The hotel room was ok but the breakfast was cold & they ran out of bread on Sunday & it was not replenished for Monday either. We only had one evening meal at the hotel & it was dreadful the soup came out of the microwave & the chips were dried up & cold. When I booked it indicated that we would be stopping Near Maastricht or Valkenburg not in Belgium! Our pick up point was altered from Burnley to Blackburn, our coach drivers Martin & Adrian were lovely & very helpful (my friend called it the fun coach) but unfortunately we had to change at Medway services due to the itinerary for different days but why not allocate them to the coach we were already on because I can see no logic to the swapping round & the same happened on the way back. The concert is the only thing that went according to plan With absolutely no complaint. I have corresponded with Gold Crest since my return requesting a refund because the trip was misrepresented, when I booked Andre & the markets were included not as I later saw the holiday was a lot cheaper & the markets were an optional extra - they are saying that is my fault we didn't get to a market & offered a 5% discount on a future holiday but if they think that I will ever travel with them again they must be crazy.

United Kingdom | 20 December 2023Just returned from short holiday with Gold Crest. First and last time.Firstly my pickup point was changed just before holiday. This incurred an exra £50 in taxi fares for me to and from pickup& dropoff .I found out at least half a doz people from all north and south had their pick up points all changed too. So the conclusion is, as they cover a massive area from north to south pick up points.they lure people in to book ,stating local pick ups. then change it at last min when youve paid for holiday. Two ladies had taxi fares of £130 to pay This is I gathered normal practice for this company. Tarvelled down from midlands to kent never offered us a tea or coffee onboard coach. We changed coaches in Kent All the way to ferry and beyond, no offer onboard coach of tea or coffee ,Was told no milk onboard. The sense of humour of the one staff members was questionable.bordered on downright rudeness. No help offered to elderly some diabled customers getting down their steep coach steps.. I will never book with this company again. Their two staff onboard were unprofessional. one chap never changed his tardy clothing in all four days we were away.No uniforms present at all.Shoddy service. I have travelled on coaches a lot, this was worst service i have encountered. We travelled onboard for hours at a time, no proper information given. we had to prize info about pickup times etc from staff. Often vague reply. NO refreshments only water ,pop which had to be asked for ..i think he just couldnt be bothered to come down the coach and ask each individual if they needed a drink.Rubbish service.. If youre thinking of booking with this company be prepared for change of pick up and drop off. and rubbish service.

United Kingdom | 06 December 2023Not even go on holiday with these people and already had bad service. Phone to ask what time we will be picked up was told in a condescending voice that it was at the bottom of the page no where near our pick up info. Which I s@id to her .her reply was no else as ever had problem with it.then I ask about my mobility scooter do they have cloakrooms to leave . Her reply was no idea you have to see on the day. I phoned to be polite and friendly soon give that up with her attitude. Really not looking forward to this holiday and pray we don’t have a problem because she gave me no faith in this company.

United Kingdom | 05 December 2023The experience was amazing, the professionalism of the drivers, the knowledge they had on not just our destination but also the whole journey, from start to finish was immense. The drivers were polite and made everyone enjoy there journey, making sure the people with disabilities were included throughout. The coach and hotel was clean and sanitary, everything we needed and definitely value for the money we paid. It couldn't have gone any better. Highly recommend, magical trip.

United Kingdom | 28 November 2023Just been to Disneyland Paris I couldn’t think of an any better way of getting there had no stress about getting there like messing around getting to the airport and going through the airport with going on coach which when you at your departure point where they pick u up you get your bags on and then just sit back and relax. it’s been been a fantastic 5 days . I’ve been with them twice now and would recommend to everyone the drivers are lovely and very welcoming films on most the way there and back which is nice. if it’s your first time at Dlp they will help u with anything they normally in the Disney village. coaches are kept with pride and are lovely to travel in. I just couldn’t thank the company enough for the brilliant and easy way to get there booking is super easy 2, im booking soon for next year for my 22rd as didn’t get chance to go on my 21st.

United States | 08 September 2023Hi, I just want to say we arrived back in the States safe and sound and I would like to thank your company for a wonderful time. The trip to Paris was fantastic and your drivers, Casper and Matt were the best. They kept everyone informed and kept everyone comfortable. They have the best sense of humor and it was a joy to be in their company. Thank you so much for a great vacation. Sheila Rooney

United Kingdom | 03 September 2023We just came back off holiday yesterday from Disneyland Paris and coach wasn't what we expected. It was a delta coach just like day coach. Drivers Alan and Albert were but a laugh plus Albert did help me twice off bus but it was my husband that helped most of the time. Cheyenne hotel room crap not good as was good given upstairs room and my legs are bad couldn't manage stairs but had no choice. Breakfast not much to choose from and changed time to 7am from 6am. Evening meals wasn't cooked and you have to wait to be seated times 6pm not 5pm as before. Supposed to be 3 stairs utter disgrace like Santa Fe. Disney don't supply free bags anymore and cost 2 euros upwards Disney merchandise from 40 euros. No more fries to buy in park just hotdogs and water costing total 15 euros. In new park in cafe on entrance 8 euros for fries and bottle water. Had to ask for Disney member to open cash desk. All pens 4 euros and shakey glitter items 7 euros wouldn't go to Disney again. The hotel bed very hard oh and gold crest don't tell you that you have to be picked up from another hotel walk about all day then get back in delta bus and travel back all night. You can only use bus loo in emergency for pees you do stop for half an hour. You get ferries both ways but only thing was nowhere to sit on ferry very expensive for shopping on there. Not much to to at Disney as everything closed off. Bit if nightmare getting through security you have to take medication, phones, loose money, keep s out if pockets, all bags. Be careful beggers beside train station trying sell Disney ears, park tickets forged ones. They stand in front of my husband and he shove them away, also pick in vulnerable women on their own. Oh and they check your tickets in entrance of park and you scan the tickets now not put through park entrance machine. Not much to do new park all doing renovation work. You have to stand in 4 mile qué to get into both parks and phone scans for apps 4 mile que. You are shoved on the path when parade going round park by security if you stand on the side of path oh and security Disney ones shout if you let your child stand on bins. Even if you put one foot on road I got shouted stand back. Even when you can't see for lots if crowds. You can't see the dancing in beside the castle and in the moving parade. Your are given hand signals to move and the f your child stand on road path a Disney security staff takes hold of the child and tells the parents off. Oh by the way if you go in the hunters grill in cyhenne you get wobbly tables and chairs. Oh the bottles if drink lie Very tiny ones for 8 euros each. Well weather was good first day crap second day. Oh if you get brolly 40 euros and can't take back in park second day have to buy another one in Disney as park entrance security take them off to. You are also given hand signal but other security to sand in 4 mile ques to get through other security. When we were coming back french border security told me to take everything out if pockets thn alarm went off french border security asked me twice if I had phone u said no ended up having to take fleeced jacket off p. Pracktaly had to be stripped searched well definitely going to Disneyland anymore you'll need £400 each to spend 31/08/23

United Kingdom | 31 August 2023Long journey with a number of pick up points but the coach was comfortable and the driver was smooth on the accelerator and the brakes. She could also reverse far better than I can! The hotel was welcoming and met our needs. One couple in our party found their room unmade but this was dealt with quickly and courteously. Our replacement driver for the second half of the return journey was not at his best but he had a lot to live up to after our “star” lady driver

United Kingdom | 27 August 2023We went to the Hampton Court Flower Show and had a great time, the trip included a trip to Kew Gardens which was amazing. Obviously there wasn't enough time to see it all but I don't think you would see it all if you had a full day there. The hotel was lovely and we got to the Flower Show with plenty of time to fully enjoy the show. Our driver was brilliant and really looked after us. I would certainly book with them again.

United Kingdom | 23 August 2023Fantastic friendly driver...he could be a villain in a James Bond movie (only joking Casper). Very helpful on both outgoing and return journey. Pleasant coach travel...plenty of stops outward.....less on return so not to disturb everyone sleeping. One negative was a toxic party onboard trying to find fault to get "compo"....they were obviously seasoned at this act !!....nothing Gold crest could of done except throw them off!...(But they didn't).. I'm looking at rebooking with an additional needs grandson they looked after us that well !

United Kingdom | 23 August 2023We haven’t been to Disney since before Covid and would usually drive or go on the euro star. Opted this time for gold crest so I didn’t have to drive and the trains are not direct at the moment. Picked up at 4am in Newcastle. Was quite anxious when waiting in Newcastle at that time on a Sunday morning as there was still a lot of drunk people about coming out of pubs and clubs. On way down we picked up from a number of different places and swapped drivers. The second driver and his partner were a lot more informative than the first driver and kept us all up to date with what was going on all the way to Disney. They had a plan in place ready for the border to help it run as smoothly as possible and it ran that smoothly that we ended up on an earlier ferry which got us to Disney 2 hours earlier than we were originally expecting. Unfortunately the tvs weren’t working so the kids couldn’t watch films on the way. The usb charges weren’t working where we was sat either so couldn’t watch things on the phones or iPads due to the batteries running low and being unable to keep them charged up for the duration. However we were lucky as all the children on our coach were very good and calm. Clear instructions given on what to do once arrived at the hotel and clear instructions given for pick up. I wouldn’t use Gold crest to go to Disney again but this was due to the length of the journey due to living in newcastle. Even getting there to Disney 2 hours early it was still around 15 and half hour journey there and around the same coming home, we would use the company for other breaks if it wasn’t quite so long a journey. Thanks for a great break and looking after us.

United Kingdom | 21 August 2023First time travelling with Gold Crest. Great value for money, hotel very clean with a good number of towels and plenty of tea and coffee in the room. A good bar area, excellent price £10 for a Merlot and a pint of Moretti . Food excellent for the money and lovely friendly staff. Sharon and John were excellent ambassadors /hosts for Gold Crest and made the journey for us. Really good fun, kind and caring. They work very hard and didn’t deserve to have to work an hour longer after the Tattoo just because 2 idi@ts drank too much and couldn’t find the coach because they couldn’t remember where they had got off . Then tried to blame John for moving the coach. ( 🤣🤣🤣 everyone found it - the exact location we got off.) John and Sharon remained professional to the end despite the women slurring in speech denying drinking - not a word of apology)we sat next to them at the show and they left their pile of lager cans all over the floor round their seats despite staff at the tattoo standing with a bag to take people’s rubbish. Lets hope they don't return. Anyway well done John and Sharon ❤️❤️❤️

United Kingdom | 19 August 2023We had a great trip to Disneyland Paris, it was a long trip but went like clockwork. Everything was handled very professionally and travelling by coach was so stress free. We would recommend Gold Crest

United Kingdom | 15 August 2023We paid a £200 deposit for a coach trip and £320 extra for the front seats at the show. We forgot to pay the balance on the date specified, in fact I forgot that we even owed a balance. When I enquired about the itinerary, this company simply said “we cancelled your holiday with loss of deposit because you didn’t pay the balance on time.” Now… there is custom and practice in this civilised country of ours… Treating customers fairly, A reminder of due date, a warning maybe or at least the courtesy of a notification that your holiday has been cancelled with loss of £520. They even refused to carry my £520 forward to a future holiday. Instead they sold our holiday to someone else, thus doubling their profit. I know as an OAP I forgot about a due date but this companies modus operandi is to deal with OAP’s and hope they forget to pay their balance on time. How cynical is that? The more of us that take this company to court, the more likely it is that they will change their sharkish modus operandi.
