United Kingdom | 22 October 2022great coach Holiday, drivers Alan and Marty made it great they were very careful and made the trip fun. honestly i was deading going all the way on the coach, to Euro Disney yes it was long but plenty of breaks, and the ferry gave us a good amount of time to stretch our legs and had a little play area for the little ones.

United Kingdom | 15 October 2022We have just got back from our first Disneyland Paris trip and it was Magical! Our journey was stress-free and our coach driver Jat was friendly and helpful throughout the trip. We would definitely recommend this company for anyone wanting to travel to Disney. We will be booking again very soon! Robyn & Josh

United Kingdom | 22 September 2022Just back from an amazing trip to Disneyland in Paris with my family. Our third trip with Gold Crest. Superb from start to finish. Coach drivers were funny and entertaining and lots of films were played during our journey. The new Avengers Campus is definitely worth visiting and the 30th show is well worth seeing. Can’t wait to go back next year!

United Kingdom | 01 August 2022DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY if you have any hopes or expectations of clarity of information, good organisation and sensible planning. The so called 'Paris Weekend / Disneyland Paris' we went on recently had been changed to 'Paris Weekend / Tour De France' by the time we got the details / full itenerary about 10 days before leaving - it was also only at this point that we found out that we wouldn't be getting on a big coach at our Halifax, West Yorkshire pick-up point, but that it would be a 'mini feeder coach' and the pick up time would be 3.45am (this meant that we spent extra money staying in a Halifax hotel the night before in order to even be there on time). We were told that this 'feeder coach' would take us to Watford Gap where we would join the main big coach, but we weren't told that it would take us on a 5 hour journey across to Grimsby, down through Lincolnshire and then picking up at Leicester before even arriving at Watford Gap. Also we were told that we would get a 45 minute comfort stop on both the feeder coach and the main coach before reaching Dover - by the time we were funnelled onto the main coach this had only amounted to about 25 minutes (20 at Watford and a brief toilet stop earlier - where the service station toilet was actually out of order and the driver wound up negotiating with some hotel staff to try to let us use their toilet!). About 10 minutes after leaving Watford on the main coach the driver had to turn back, having got the news that he had left 2 people at Watford - this turned out to be because Gold Crest had told him the wrong number of passengers! Do you think this main coach then got on a direct route to Dover? Well, think again! It went on to pick up more people (at Luton I think) and then drove right through central London to pick up even more people adding another good hour and a half to the journey. Finally, picking up yet more people at Medway services, we got a 45 minute break before heading down to Dover. It was midnight before we finally reached our hotel outside Paris. On returning to the UK a couple of days later we left the hotel at 9am and didn't reach Halifax until 3am the next morning (even with a taxi pick-up being organised for the Grimsby passengers - it would have been a good hour or two more otherwise). We had to get a taxi from Halifax to our home several miles away and finally got in the house at about 3.45am. The main coach had apparently set off from Bolton, which can't be much more than 15 miles away from Halifax, so why this coach couldn't pick us up in the first place instead of having to go on a tour of Lincolnshire I do not know. Despite the fact that the driver of the main coach (who was actually employed by Red Rose coaches of Lancashire - sub contracted by Gold Crest) had only got details about the whole weekend the day before - including the fact that this was now partly billed as a 'Tour De France' weekend (which meant unexpected road closures in Paris on the Sunday) and that he had to organise a cruise on the Seine for some of the passengers on the other day, his experience and know-how (together with his helpful daughter), made a bad situation more bearable on the whole, although his decision to set off back at 9am instead of 8.30am wasn't such a good call, as we then had a long wait for a ferry at Calais. He had at least managed to dodge some of the expected delays at Dover on the way there - after hearing horror stories about 4 to 7 hour delays he actually got us onboard quite swiftly, with knowledge of a different route in - although, after the ridiculous journey we had already been suffering, this was always going to be too little too late to have any hopes of getting to Paris at a reasonable time and in no way could his efforts make up for Gold Crest's shambolic lack of organisation or the way they advertise these things without giving the 'fine details' - which I'm sure they know would put most people off!

United Kingdom | 17 July 2022We recently travelled to Disneyland Paris with Gold Crest Holidays, and the kids have been begging us to go again every day since! What an experience we had, it was top notch from start to finish 👌 The first thrill of the week was arriving to find our coach was Disney emblazoned - it even had a Mickey registration plate! 😍 I wish I could've videoed the children's reaction because it was priceless. Two super excited kids! (and equally excited parents!) We then had a couple of hours drive to Peterborough for the next pickup and a quick stop. Then on to London Victoria, with the driver sharing with us all of the best sights and interesting facts through the city. Then it was on towards the Eurotunnel. We had another stop before the train and border, and everything went so smoothly. Honestly, when traveling with kids the last thing you want is more stress, and Gold Crest genuinely made everything so easy and straightforward! We were soon under the sea, with the kids expecting to see fishes through the train windows! 😂 We exited in France and were on our way again. It's another couple of hours to Disney from the tunnel, and we had a quick stop to toilet and snack, before we soon started to see the signs pop up for Disneyland Paris. There were whoops of joy from all of the passengers on the coach, and as we had been watching Disney movies throughout the journey, there were spontaneous break outs of singing along the final stretch which was fantastic, and such great fun for the kids all joining in together. When we arrived at the hotel, again, Gold Crest had made sure everything was already done for us. We were given our room key cards and Disney passes on the coach, and we headed to our rooms, dumped our bags, and then went for dinner. The hotel we stayed in, Sequoia Lodge, has an all-you-can-eat buffet style selection, and what a selection there was! We filled our plates until we were ready to pop, and then headed back to our room. On the way we saw our first character! They do meet and greets with everyone, so we had a hug and our photos taken before heading back to our rooms for some rest. In the morning, I remembered our driver had told us that you can get free coffees using your room key at the machines on each floor, so I made sure to get one 😁 Then we headed off to breakfast (all-you-can-eat selection), before we walked to the Park. We then spent an incredible day of magic, fun and laughter, making the absolute best memories with our babies. It's everything you could wish for, and more. The parades, rides, food, experiences, the fireworks, the way everyone of every age comes alive and dances to the music. It's just magical from start to finish! After three full days in the park, we were shattered and ready for home. I was dreading the coach journey, thinking the kids would be hard work as there was no excitement, but we just chilled, watched movies and slept most of the way! The kids (4 & 8) were absolutely shattered, so I think they were happy to just rest their little legs from all the walking we did! 😂 Again, the whole travel back went without a hitch. It was so well organised, we stopped for breaks and food, and I never had to actually think for myself, I just followed the instructions given by the Gold Crest representative. I'd had reservations about traveling by coach before, but I would honestly do it again tomorrow (we're already saving to go back!) As a Mum who always has to do EVERYTHING, it was sooo nice to have someone else doing the organising! In comparison to traveling by plane, where I'd have had to sort out check-in for the flights, transfers, hotel check-in/out etc, it genuinely gave me some incredibly rare breathing space, so that I was able to simply enjoy the whole experience with my children, instead of stressing that I'd forget to do something. What Gold Crest provided for me is priceless, and I wouldn't hesitate to travel with them again. Thank you ❤️

United Kingdom | 17 June 2022Do not book with this company , worst company I have ever had the misfortune in dealing with. I booked for my daughter and myself to go to euro Disney for September 2020 which was canceled due to covid so I moved the holiday to the following September. I was waiting to hear of them due to payment and what was going on with my holiday so when I decided to ring they told me my holiday had been cancelled because they hadn’t heard from me no attempt was made to contact me at all , then when I rang them they told me I had to deal with them through email which was a nightmare, they then told me I had to prove I payed for the holiday so I had to produce documents which when I did they didn’t accept I then threatened them with legal action and low and behold they changed their mind and said they could accept it and thankfully I was able to have a full refund , the customer service was disgusting and I would never ever deal with this terrible company again .

United Kingdom | 03 December 2021I wouldn't ever use this company again. We booked euro Disney Christmas break last year which was cancelled due to covid we didn't seek a refund to support the travel company and moved our booking to this year for next week the new changes due to covid have caused massive issues for several of the family who work in the care sector so we asked to move this to next year they have refused and told us they will take 75% of the money paid. Hays who we booked through have been fantastic and asked if they would allow a name change and they would try and sell it for us and they refused this also!! Shocking customer service don't book unless you are 100% certain nothing will stop you going!!
