I wish I had known about the company years ago. I bought two at a time and I do plan to buy a few more for friends by Christmas. Service was fast, friendly, and personable.

United States | 02 September 2019I purchased a belt from Orion in March 2019. The belt is excellent; high quality thick leather, good construction. It even came with an extra buckle. Unfortunately the service was at the best bizarre, and at the worst nearly criminal. Immediately after placing my order my Visa card was charged though the order was not shipped, nor even packaged, yet. While many weeks passed the order status remained "processing". An initial email to the company requesting an ETA update did not evoke a response. A second email was followed by a response that suggested the order would ship soon. I received the belt more than a month after placement of the order, and if I hadn't persisted with the emailing, I might never have received it. I hope the information contained in Marty's review dated 8-1-2019 is inaccurate. It would be so sad if it were true because the people at Orion Leather do have the knowledge and skill to manufacture beautiful leather work. I wish them, as well as any customers who suffered unpleasant dealings with them, the best.

United States | 31 July 2019Placed order on 04/21/2019 knowing I would have to wait due to the reviews. Emailed them on 05/25/2019 asking about updates. Received response on 05/28/2019 from a Robin that my order is being produced and I will receive a UPS shipping status. Never received the shipping status, and obviously never received the belt. Now it's 6/30/2019, I tried emailing for a cancellation and got a failed email, and realized their website is down. I immediately know something is wrong, and went online to dispute the cost from my credit card. You most likely will get that money back from your credit card including shipping, so do that and don't fret. My credit card company will reach out (and mostly likely they won't answer). Definitely thinks this company is shady if they just shut down a website with no email announcement. I think I will stick to buying from stores and websites I'm familiar with and can trust...

United States | 03 July 2019Purchased a belt over 2 months ago, money was taken instantly but haven't heard anything since. Up until 2 weeks ago the order was still marked as "processing," which was the exact same status it was after they charged my card. Since then their website has gone down, so I can't check my order status. Haven't heard anything since and they haven't responded to any of my emails. Finally had to submit a fraud charge with my bank. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM.

United States | 16 June 2019Are you joking? I placed my order almost two weeks ago and never even received confirmation, despite the money being taken promptly from my account. They don't respond to emails, their phone number is non-functioning, and their website isn't even up any more (all pages on the site lead to an error code). This is ridiculous. I'm filing a complaint with PayPal and my bank. Do not trust this company.

They are usually made to order so they might take a little longer than off the shelf belts that other companies sell but Orion’s are of much better quality. You will be getting the best craftsmanship available and good durability at a very fair price. Oh yes, and as an added bonus, their belts will stop your pants from falling down

United States | 05 April 2019Unfortunately, Robyn. You keep saying the belt was the correct size. Why then, when we ordered 2 belts the same size..one fit and the other was 5 inches off. That just makes no sense. And no I did not forget to post the other emails. The issue came when you seemed to ignore my emails and then I found so many other people struggling with the same issues on this site. This is when alarm set in. The sad truth is you guys have an alarming religion online. I simply missed it before I ordered. 4/18/2019: UPDATE: They finally did refund the money on the belts returned--not shipping of almost $15 though. Still will never do business or recommend them to anyone. ORIGINAL COMMUNICATION This place should be shut down!! I purchased two belts--the same size. One fit and the other was over 5" from fitting. They sent another belt and it was still 5" from fitting. In the email I have pasted, they agreed that if I sent back the 2 belts they would refund my money BUT after I spent almost $15 returning the belts (they do not pay for return shipping--even when it is their fault) they then are no longer responsive to emails and there is no way to call them. They now have the belts and have not refunded my money. United States | 07 March 2019My order took just over a month, which wasn’t clearly communicated on the site. They were a bit slow to respond to email, but did get back to me about my order status. The quality is outstanding and I can’t recommend them enough. Just be aware that everything is made to order and it’s probably going to take some time to get it.

And they have not responded to my attempts to contact them. It really seems like they have gone out of business.

United States | 20 February 2019DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. I bought a belt and exchanged the size - paid the shipping costs back, put the form in, all well within 30 days. Over 1 and a half months later - no response. They GHOSTED me. No refunds, no contact, no belt. They literally took my money and just ignored the customer. Stay far away from this company. Terrible PEOPLE. I am disputing with both my bank and paypal to get my money back, and will forever be saying bad things and WARNING people of this company. Every other review you see here about no response is EXACTLY what you are going to get.

United States | 16 February 2019My son ordered a new belt for me shortly after Thanksgiving and I received it from him, as a gift, on Christmas. It was too big, so I took his order information, filled out their Returns Form, and mailed it back to them 31 days after the order date. I noted that they don't accept returns on worn items or 30 days after the "purchase date" and wanted a $5.50 reshipping fee for the return. I included a check for the $5.50 and figured, if they were real sticklers for the 30 day after order rule, they wouldn't cash the check. They cashed the check about 3 weeks after I shipped the belt back to them. In the meantime, I've tried contacting them multiple times via e-mails and calls (you can't leave a message as their mailbox is full) to find out when to expect the replacement belt. I suspect these guys have folded or are taking a long winter vacation. My advice is to stay away.
