The tooling, color of stain and strong stainless steel buckle is far superior to the prissy imported junk in the stores. This belt will last a lifetime, buy a brown and a black. United States | 18 October 2018FINAL VERDICT: 4/5. Product: 5/5. Customer service: 3/5. Final edit 11/1/18: I received the belt yesterday. It is very obviously a high quality and durable belt that I will be able to use for a long time. Fits perfectly too. The other day I was checking my email and I noticed that the three emails I submitted through their website that didn't get a response had a reason for getting a response: The company never got them in the first place. There was an issue with their email system that rejected each and every email submitted through their website for some reason. To email them and actually get a response, use the email in the About Us section. I will raise the score from a 3/5 to a 4/5. The product warrants a 5/5 from what I can tell (although I just got it and this may change over time) but the aggravating and unneccessary experience in conjunction with the two emails that should have gone through that still took a long period to get a response plus the high costs to return a product result in my feeling obligated in not giving a perfect score. Thus, I conclude this essay. I can't personally recommend whether you do or do not make business with this company, especially as I feel that most people that check this website are doing so after purchasing a product and simply being asked to make a review. Edit 10/18/18: Updated some minor grammatical errors. I finally got an email today confirming my belt had been received and my belt will be shipped shortly. I never really cared how long it took to get the replacement (within reason); I just wanted a response. Now that I have gotten one, I have increased the rating from 2 stars to 3 stars, where it will remain until I can actually judge how good the belt is. I will be keeping the original review up, however, to archive the fact that my initial experience was horrendous. Original 10/17/18: I wish to preface this by saying that once my situation gets resolved, I will update this review because I highly doubt the belt warrants a 2/5. However, my experience in purchasing a belt has been absolutely atrocious. As soon as I purchased a belt, I realized I left my apartment number off of the order and within five minutes had emailed the company through their official "Contact Us" page asking for the number to be added to the order to ensure that I received the belt I paid for. Orion has specified multiple times here on Trustpilot that the belts are made to order and take two days to make. So why is it that in those two days between the order being placed and shipping, not only did I not receive a response but the address also didn't get updated? I sent a follow-up email before the belt was shipped, again through this official page, asking for confirmation that my email was received and that the company was changing the address. This one appears to have been ignored as well because once again I did not get a response. Fortunately, the apartment complex I live at was able to deliver the belt to me. Unfortunately, the belt didn't fit. It was one size too small. So, I follow the instructions sent with the belt to make an exchange. The mere idea of paying not only for return shipping but a $5.50 restocking fee is ludicrous, but I carried on with the exchange process. At this point, I'm not even sure that was the right idea. The package provided an email address specifically for the purpose of telling the company that I had sent them the $5.50 restocking fee, which I emailed saying such. In what seems to be a pattern, I never got a response. I shipped the belt and it arrived last Thursday. However, I never got any confirmation that the belt had arrived and an exchange process had begun. I emailed the company from the "Contact Us" page asking for an update. An update which I never got. I emailed them AGAIN asking for an update. I STILL didn't get a response. If you have been counting, that is FIVE emails I have sent this company that has been either completely ignored or haven't even been received in the first place (suggesting a fault in their emailing system as I am only emailing from their website and from an email that they provided me directly). For the ten minutes I actually had the belt in my possession, it seemed of very high quality. I'm sure it was a good product. But forcing the customer to pay an additional $20 because of a sizing error is incredibly inconvenient on top of the consistent lack of barebones customer support. I don't understand why I am receiving such poor service either, as many reviews on this very website praise the customer service of this company. However, given my very poor experience, I cannot earnestly recommend purchasing from this company unless you are absolutely certain that the belt you purchase is of your size. God forbid you to have to return the belt. It won't be a process you will enjoy.
