Austria | 27 December 2023I purchased the Slimbook Titan about 2 and a half year ago. Sadly about half a year out of warranty all of a sudden the Titan went black and didnt start again. I contacted Slimbook for advise and almost immediatly got response from technical support altough it was christmas. The questions asked were precise and led to the problem due to one defect ram module. Kudos to Slimbooks costumer service and technical support. It was the first time i asked for help from a manufacturer and didnt get a useless answer like: " Are you sure you plugged your device in?" This review is the first i ever wrote but in this case it is well earned!

Italy | 31 October 2023My executive 14 begins to start slowly at boot. The assistance center was very helpuful in pinning the reason and helping me to repair it (it was a dead CMOS battery).

Croatia | 28 October 2023Slimbook customer support helped me with the service of my Essential laptop The keyboard did not work (at least some keys) I still had the warranty, the support tried to help me, but the hardware needed to change the case and keyboard. I sent the laptop to their headquarters, and they fixed everything and returned my product. Everything works now, I'm happy

United Kingdom | 30 September 2023I bought a Slimbook Essential for my wife last year. Initial experience was very good other than intermittent wifi problems; I was starting to look at potentially making other purchases e.g. their KYMERA AQUA gaming desktop Then a few days back, my wife noticed a crack on the chassis near the lid joint (left of the ESC key). It seemed to be from opening and closing the lid; due to tight hinges, the lid bends the lower part of the body when pulled. While the crack looks small, it could get worse and render the laptop unusable. I have a public video of showing the lid movement putting pressure on the body, trustpilot doesn't let me post links Given the positive experience and that the laptop was just a year old and under the 3 year warranty, I wrote to the seller. The initial reply seemed positive, they confirmed that they found the laptop serial number and that it was under warranty. Accidental breakages wouldn't be covered under warranty, they wanted photos before they concluded on the next steps. That sounded fair - damage caused by the user wouldn't be covered, but a defect in the model would obviously be taken care of. I sent a photo of the break as well as a video and highlighted that this wasn't accidental damage caused by us, but possibly a case of stress related fracture as part of normal use i.e. opening and closing the lid. The reply back from support was that they had never seen anything of this sort before and didn't have any problems with the batch in which this unit was sold, so it had to be our fault (even if we weren't aware of how we caused it) and that they could repair it at a cost and offered a discount for the repair if we didn't leave a bad review. I did some research and found forums where other laptop owners have had similar problems with their laptops from other laptop dealers. This sort of problem seems to happen on and off - so while it wouldn't affect an entire batch, it could affect a particular unit. These users contacted their respective dealer support who fixed the laptop under warranty after investigating root cause. This is in direct contrast to the response of Slimbook support who refused to consider that the unit has a defect and want to charge a significant sum for repair. At this point, I have decided that I will take my business elsewhere. Of all the laptops we have owned, this has been the shortest lived one and it wasn't the cheapest so obviously very disappointed. Response to the seller's claims and factual inaccuracies - The seller claims that I didn't agree to have the unit reviewed. However, the seller has not offered to physically review the unit, but only a paid for repair as per their emails. - Trustpilot has validated our profiles and reviews as real and confirmed that there is no violation of policy - The "bump" that the seller refers to is discolouration of left lid edge; All corners have some discolouration with paint coming off. This is both a quality issue (mentioned in other reviews) and a red herring from the seller as it is unrelated to the crack. If there really was "misuse" as claimed by seller, then there would be more irregular scratches or breaks all over - It doesn't need an "expert" to work out that if we didn't damage the laptop, then the problem is on the seller's side. especially with online records of other consumers who faced a similar issue and had it resolved by their vendor - My only "edits" are to ensure that I meet the Trustpilot character limit to describe my experience factually as per the email exchanges with the seller and to respond to inaccurate statements made by the seller. - I am the affected party who paid for and received a defective item which the seller won't fix under warranty claiming that we damaged it. It is my right to seek recourse by leaving a review and taking legal action via the European Consumer Centre (through or outside court) as per my email. That is not "blackmail"; the seller has no case and seems to not know how court or defamation cases work. Their trust issues have no relation to fulfilling the warranty; it is a commercial and legal obligation and not psychological.

Germany | 21 September 2023After one year of using slimbook pro x 14" (16x AMD Ryzen 7 5700U), my experience is overall positive. I use the laptop every day, for about 12 hours, running multithreaded programs and simulations. Never experienced a glitch. The CPU fan is often turned off. When in operation, it is very quiet. The battery lasts 4-5 hours when running multiple and heavy applications, otherwise 8 hours for more typical laptop use (battery health is still 100%). Unfortunately, in some very small places on the chassis the paint has worn off. Finally, the experience with the customer center was excellent. They are kind, responsive, and efficient. If I were to buy another computer, it would probably be a slimbook again.

Netherlands | 23 August 2023I have a ProX14, amd. I bought it last year and it had problems with the keyboard and with the ram. However, customer support was amazing: very quick response, very helpful, and very friendly. The machine was repaired very quickly and it works perfectly now. Despite the earlier issues I can really recommend Slimbook.
