Austria | 25 January 2022Hello to whomever reads this, I have been working with Ubuntu Notebooks since now 8 years and never did I have with any Notebook nor Desktop PC that much trouble that I have with yours. It started when you managed to sent me a worng keyboard layout with a key not working, no iGPU drivers installed in your Slimbook OS and a malfunctionus motherboard (Don't you have a quality service??). I filed an issue for that the SECOND day i received my notebook. The process of verifying this took (conveniently for you) long enough so that the notebook was past the guarentee so I could not return it anymore. Then you tried to trick me into paying the shimpment to get the motherboard exchanged even though the failure was there since the beginning which is against the EU law (Thank you for not pointing that out you d***heads). Only after I pointed that out to your customer service I suddenly did not need to pay for the shipment anymore. After all the troubles with your Slimbook OS I decided to go with the stable Windows 10 because there couldn't be any problems with that, right? right? The Wifi is not working in Windows 11 since there is a problem with the driver and it was also not working in Windows 10 after upgrading to WSL2. (Did you steal your circuit designs from China? No? Maybe you should have, even the Chinesium that they produce lasts longer than your hardware). Because of that I switched back to Ubuntu in the hope that your "custom-made" Slimbook OS might have been updated and be now a better fit for that Notebook. Boy, have I been wrong. Now after a couple of months using it again with your Ubuntu everytime I wake my notebook from sleep or plug in an HDMI cabel my screen just displays noise and I can't recover from that. I can only forcefully power it off by pressing the power button. Besides that I can't complain... Wanted to give 0 stars but sadly it's not possible. Your hardware is bad and you should feel bad for selling it.

He was super friendly and professional and instructed me on every detail throughout the process. I can't recommend Slimbook enough, they are one of- if not the only company on earth providing affordable Linux machines at a great price and quality. I would be happy to consider myself a customer for the foreseeable future. Five stars!

Han desarrollado una nueva BIOS para hacerlo compatible con windows 11 aún fuera de garantia. Un servicio tecnico excelente y un equipo para muchos años. Sin ninguna duda fue un gran acierto encontrar esta marca.

It's a perfectly small and light ultrabook with an amazing screen. Buying from Slimbook confirmed exactly why I wanted a notebook from a Linux-centric company: I had two minor issues on upgrading the OS to another version, both resolved by the tech-team in no time!

Adquirí un Slimbook Pro X 15 con una configuración "especial" hace un par de semanas y el equipo funciona y rinde de maravilla. No obstante, les he hecho algunas consultas por correo y su repuesta es clara, rápida y profesional.

Germany | 15 November 2021I was looking for a good AMD Ryzen based linux laptop that can let me code and compile my code on the move. I started exploring thinkpads, ideapads, XPS etc. Since my default desktop is KDE on ubuntu 20.04, KDE neon has been my choice of distro. While browsing the KDE neon site, I came across the KDE Slimbook 15. It ticked all the boxes for me and purchased one immediately and got the delivery in 15 days. The laptop is sturdy, very light weight for a 15.6 inch screen. Excellent keyboard strokes. The 92watt battery gives me about 8-10 hours of coding, compiling and watching videos and fan rarely kicks. Only drawback I see is that the keyboard letters aren't visible at certian angle and the backlit timing can't be controlled.

Spain | 15 November 2021Tengo un portátil Pro X 15 y estoy encantado con él. Buenos componentes a un precio razonable y un posicionamiento de honestidad y claridad. A nivel postventa, sencillamente excelente: una gestión humana y empática, además de mucho sentido común. Primero de todo, siempre hablo con personas humanas que me responden como tal, en lugar de seguir un guión o un proceso estándar. Y segundo, aplican un sentido común con el que me siento muy cómodo. Ninguna de las grandes marcas me permitiría abrir yo mismo el portátil sin perder la garantía. Pero Slimbook sí lo hace porque me tratan como adulto responsable que toma sus decisiones y asume sus riesgos. Y gracias a eso he podido cambiar yo mismo la tarjeta de red. Muy contento y espero que sigan vendiendo bien y creciendo.

Your service personnel are AWESOME! super nice and helpful, and are clearly profficient. I have some criticism regarding the website itself and its user experience but it's a sign of a young small company with lots of room to grow and improve, and I wish you to keep going successfully in the right direction as your business matures and grows.

Fueron muy rápidos y me ofrecieron una solución a la que, al estar fuera de garantía, no estaban obligados. Estaba convencido de que los Slimbook eran la mejor opción para trabajar con Linux y ahora, conociendo su servicio técnico, será difícil que cambie de marca.
