Missing items/wrong certificate etc. In total, 3 coins sent to us: each with missing items/wrong certificate. My wife been in contact with London mint office SO MANY times. Tegan asked if my wife would leave her a good review, because she "tried so hard" to resolve the matter! Note: it was NOT resolved at that point! Returned each coin and we have hard evidence of this. London mint office informed us they had received the 3 coins. Then, we had an email stating we don't owe any money. My wife asked for the customer account to be closed, which was confirmed. Following this, a few weeks later we had an email saying a coin been sent to us and had an invoice for it! What coin? We NEVER ordered a coin at this point! My wife immediately contacted the mint office. Outcome: it's a mistake and ignore the email/invoice. We owe NO money. Account still closed. Months later, today, had a red letter asking for the money! Tried to call them again. No answer. No one wants to know if there's an issue. A few months ago, my wife's request to speak with a manager was declined on several separate occasions. I bet a manager from the London mint office will NOT contact us. I have emailed the Ombudsman, the London mint office and the debt recovery service. Trading standards will be contacted too. Thinking of contacting a solicitor to, if this isn't resolved VERY quickly. We have NEVER been in debt in our lives and I'm 53. If we can't afford something, we go without. Please read the reviews posted on the London mint office Google reviews. We are not the only ones going through this! In all honesty we CANNOT recommend London mint office. UPDATE: very little sleep due to the above. My wife is extremely concerned she will be going to court and the bailiffs calling at our home! UPDATE: Following phones calls, the London mint office admitted this was their error and apologised. Evan who works at the mint office, was very helpful in sorting this situation out. Bearing in mind that this been on going for MANY months, I asked a manager, Nicola, for compensation for my wife. She was offered a coin, something she is not interested in collecting herself, as we both informed the Nicola, in two separate calls. A financial request was very quickly declined by Nicola. Yet, she wanted to keep us as a customer: Nicola tried to keep our account open for the future! No chance! So it's ok for us to part with our hard earned money, but not for them to offer compensation...not even as a good will gesture, after what THEY put us through! Outcome: as our request, the London mint office has sent us emails and a letter stating we owe nothing and the account is now closed. I will now inform the ombudsman of the outcome.

Teigan also mentioned that there is another coin in the collection that isn't part of my order. But would be beneficial to my collection. Which I will purchase in the near future.

However, when I went to purchase it (in Sept 24) the price was increased to £595.00. To me, this appears to be sharp practice at play - I have been collecting coins for years and have never come across this situation. Had a number of exchange E Mails with Alex R who from a customer service aspect was excellent - no complaint there. This was my first purchase of a collection from The London Mint Office - it will be my last after this experience. 22 December 2024 - I provided additional information to Trustpilot around 12 November as requested, but not really a surprise that nothing has happened.

United Kingdom | 09 November 2024The coin is amazing 👏 but the thing is you have a hard sell on getting the rest of the collection, to add the album that has another 7 slots for additional coins, (even though there's only six extras shown) yes I agree you have to try make further sales but do not add the album for the extra coins until the purchaser had ordered the next coin in the collection! If it was done this way I'd more intrigued to purchase more coins, but the hard sale has put me off from doing so!
