I worked with Bill, he is extremely knowledgeable. They stock an insane amount of inventory. I kept asking for different items and availability and it was always available and the pricing is penny's on the dollar compared to the other company's I called. I recommended them to a friend already who went with an idea of what he was going to spend and left with everything he needed for less than half of what he expected.

I have placed orders with John Celona on quite a few different times. John always get back to me right away and asks all the right questions so I get exactly what I need and comunicates shipping details. A true pleasure to deal with.

If I could give them zero stars, I would. I bought used totes from them which showed up in terrible shape. There were maybe 5 out of 200 that were usable and those were disgusting and filthy. The majority of totes had broken lids or one lid....so who would need those? I asked for a picture prior to signing the quote and that email got ignored. When I asked for a refund, I just got a snapshot of my signed quote and a sarcastic remark saying I bought them as is.

I ordered roller conveyors and stands. I received everything I ordered, but I had to drag what was left of the pallet(s) off the delivery truck and into my warehouse. I had to be careful to lift high enough so that the conveyor stand legs that were hanging down through the broken pallet, did not hang anywhere and receive further damage. I'm sure the freight company did not help this situation, but they probably did the best they could with the way the shipment was palletized. I was able to repair all of the bent pieces, and everything works fine now. I tried to attach a picture.

Overall we have had an okay experience with American Surplus. Products are always good quality. I am dissapointed that every time I call about used products listed on the website they aren't available and we have to get new. Delivery time could be better.

Very easy to deal with. Length of project from initial contact to delivery of capital equipment was dictated more by my companies timeline than that of American Surplus. They were ready to go before we were. The condition of the equipment versus the sales price was a deal when compared to another piece of equipment that we were considering. All in all, a pleasant and positive experience.

Great customer service. Matt showed me around the facility and made great suggestions. Quality, affordable, good used supplies. My pallet racking and equipment was delivered on time and very professionally. Believe me, it's not every equipment company that treats women business owners like normal people, and it is appreciated. (It should be this normal!!)
