have used american surplus for many years when we were known as Genco auto electric. Now as BBB industries hope to continue that.

I have been working with American Surplus for well over a year and I have had nothing but excellent experiences. My company is demanding and particular on the racking we get and American Surplus has met all expectations. I work specifically with their salesman Tom Oliveira and he has been great to work with. He comes out to the facility when asked to take some measurements and get a feel with what the project is anytime he is asked. He is a great communicator and continues to follow up on all of our needs. They are 5 stars all around.

We have purchased small and large orders from American Surplus. Despite whether it was small or large no one gave me the time of day. I had to follow up with different sales reps to multiple times just to get a quote.(following up is there job) Then they did not notify me when my order was ready. I ended up calling in weeks later asking where my stuff was and they stated it had been ready from pick-up for a week or so.

Dealing with American Surplus, and John Celona, was wonderful. We recently bought a pallet shrink wrapper. The device was as promised, and they even beat the expected lead time. I would definitely work with them again.

Product I received was good. Communication was at times a little slow for my taste. No documentation with the product for assembly which caused some delays in assembly. Documentation was provided to me after the fact.

Everything was fine. Shipping charges were more than previously discussed.

Tom O was extremely helpful. We had a tight timeframe on some wire decking we needed. Not only was the price strong, but Tom made sure that our expectations on delivery date were exceeded. I do a lot of purchasing in the material handling industry, and it is rare that price expectations and service expectations are exceeded simultaneously. Upright frames were in nearly new condition, beams had a few dents but were in good condition. All hardware was included for assembly. Product arrived in a timely manner for a reasonable freight price, install was simple with no problems. A good purchase saving our company a lot of money over buying new rack.
