I have dealt with IPD since the early 80's - never an issue on quality or customer service. Now on my 8th Volvo - 3 still in service.

I have owned Volvos since 1974 and have purchased numerous times from IPD. I have always been satisfied. My latest purchase was a relay. It arrived and I installed it. The relay did not function. The old one was intermittent. I reinstalled and it functioned. The new relay is defective . I called customer service, the person was not friendly. He offered a refund of the relay only. I had to eat the shipping . I protested to no avail. He told me to throw the defective relay as it was not worth returning. I waited over a week for the refund to post. Nothing. I called again. The customer service person said it was processed. I did not receive it. He then discovered it was processed as an “in house credit”. I protested as I was told I would receive a refund. He said he would have to forward a request to the original service person and see if he would change it to a refund. I still do not know if I will get the refund. I do not understand how IPD sells a defective part and the customer has to pay the shipping. I do not think IPD will be my first choice in the future. I deal with Rock Auto and their customer service is outstanding

Thank you Seph for taking care of a customer. I recently got a radiator that was exchanged because it leaked when I installed it. Called IPD Seph added more packaging to the new radiator I recieved. The radiator arrived with no damages.
