The service was good and Rob Anderson made the process really easy. They checked my hard drive to see if they could recover the data for free. They also paid for the shipping to their service center. They only charge if they recover your data.

Rob Anderson was not only extremely efficient in helping me through the data recovery process, he was patient, kind and sympathetic to my situation. I was trying to determine if I should attempt to have data recovered from my smartphone. Even though I was not a large corporation, Rob took the time, on a number of occasions over a year and a half period, to listen to my predicament and to then walk me through my options. During these eighteen or so months, I was debating spending the money (tight budget) on the data recovery (pictures of my one and only European vacation). When I finally decided to go ahead and try to have the data recovered, Rob was professional and efficient in getting me the forms and labels that I needed (again) never once acting as though he felt it was a waste of his time since I hadn't followed through on a couple of previous occasions. Secure Data Recovery and the data recovery specialist assigned to my case, Rob Anderson, were incredible to work with. Rob answered all of my questions quickly and promptly. The process including authorizing the different steps, payment, to review of results, all the way through to managing and tracking the recovered media was very lightweight and easily managed online. The results were everything I could hope for and it was great value for me. I plan to not need this service again but should I, I will look to Secure Data Recovery first!

My phone did some kind of automatic upgrade/factory reset and I lost all of my text messages. They were not backed up to the cloud although everything else on the phone was there (photos/emails/downloads). After returning from a vacation trip, I was reviewing the photos in my 64 GB SD card on my big screen TV. Halfway through the SD card stopped responding and wasn't being recognized. I spent time and money going to three very credible cell phone repair shops that could not provide me with any hope for recovering the information on my water damaged cell phone before using Secure Data Recovery services. It happens. You film for 1/2 day, download the footage and POOF it vanishes; from the card, the drive and the backup. We immediately sent all three to Secure Data and Chris walked us patiently through every step of the painful process.
