Easy to navigate website and very clear instructions. We've used World Nomads as our travel insurer for the last few years and the experience has been very good. We've not had to file any claims so far, and so we cannot review that very crucial aspect.

web site quote option does not work with chrome. Had to call instead of booking on line. Very frustrating and was not able to compare annual plan and one trip plan prices.

They reimbursed unplanned and unused vacation costs. They also reimbursed the balance of our mountain rescue and hospital costs (they are secondary payers for medical emergency). We now buy their policies annually and it is easy to enroll.

Fair price for my domestic trip to Florida, online booking convenient, policy covered my needs to cover non refundable lodging in case of emergency.

I recently purchased travel insurance from World Nomads and unfortunately had to file a claim for delayed luggage. The initial online claims process was frustrating as the form wouldn't accept my IBAN despite entering it correctly. I had to resort to submitting a PDF form manually, which felt outdated. After submitting the claim and all supporting documents, I waited 10 business days as promised. However, I was then informed that I needed to file a claim with the airline first, as per their policy. This information should have been clearly communicated during the initial claim submission process, not after a 10-day wait. The entire claims process was unnecessarily complicated and time-consuming. While the purchase process was straightforward, the claims experience was highly disappointing. I recommend World Nomads to streamline their claims process and provide clearer upfront guidance to avoid such delays and frustrations for policyholders.

Very easy to get peace of mind.

Purchased coverage for my Trip to Kailash Manasarover. During our trip due to flooding and landslides roads were washed out and we had to be airlifted at additional charge. Upon return filed claim which was processed in a timely fashion and we were paid for the entire amount paid for being airlifted. We were a group of 30+. After a few people submitted claims, world nomads contacted one of persons from group and asked a list of everyone that travelled in the group. People who subsequently filed claim received their payments faster without even having to call them. These folks are proactive in helping their customers. I am going with them infuture and recommend world nomads
