United States | 18 February 2025Sure easy to get. Great service. And easy to figure out. Thank you. Thank you. Looking forward to my trip.

United States | 18 February 2025I've used World Nomads several times, and have always been satisfied (and luckily have not needed coverage). This time I was not happy how the "Cancel for Any Reason" coverage was included as a line item on the coverage selection between the different tiers, but on the next screen you have to pick what you want to pay, which was about 40% of the total coverage! I needed it, so I paid for it, but it seems like hidden fee pricing and it's not good business to keep fees from being clear.

United Kingdom | 18 February 2025So, I got a policy with them back in January. Over 1 month ago. I'm based here in Ireland. I got a travel policy with them for a 7 day trip. I had an event and I tried to submit a claim. Oh boy was I surprised. Their underwriter for policies here is Collinson. They have an utterly bad reputation here. They are an underwriter you want to stay away from. Because of this I'm never getting a policy again with world nomads, until they find a more reliable underwriter. Collinson is just absolutely horrible. Today, February 17th. It's been almost one month since my claim submission to Collinson and there's no conclusion or finalization. The claims handler just keeps asking me for more documents. Already gave them like 30 pages of documents. Including passport, proof of adress, bank statements, plane tickets, holiday bookings, bank statements for payments of everything. Still not enough it seems. Absolutellyyyyyyy a horrible experience. My personal advice. If you're in the EU, stay away from worldnomads, they'll send you straight to Collinson.

Canada | 18 February 2025Straightforward ordering of travel insurance, very clear as to what it offers, low price, website is modern and easy-to-use, doesn't feel like an out-of-touch insurance company!

United States | 17 February 2025This is my third time using World Nomads and all have been very professional experiences. Booking is extremely easy since they provide side by side comparisons of the different levels of service. Last year, my riding partner broke her leg a couple of weeks before we were able leave. All required documents were easily uploaded and reimbursement of our traveling costs went smoothly. Extremely professional and accommodating,

United States | 17 February 2025Purchasing travel insurance was relatively painless. I won't be able to make a proper review until I've either taken my trip successfully or needed to use the insurance in some capacity or other.

United States | 17 February 2025Obtaining a quote and then moving to purchase the insurance on line was very easy. Competitive rates and I received emails to keep me posted on my progress and what to do next.

United States | 17 February 2025So far I’ve only signed up, but I found the website easy to navigate. World Nomads was recommended by the adventure travel company that I booked my trip with.

Taiwan | 17 February 2025Very good experience for using the website to apply the insurance

United States | 17 February 2025I cannot deny that the coverage is great, but there are several other travel insurance companies that offer much better pricing for the same amount of coverage.

United States | 17 February 2025Fast, easy to navigate and read.

United States | 17 February 2025Easy, quick and efficient transaction to purchase the insurance. I hope to never use it, however.

United States | 17 February 2025It is very hard to rate you as a company since I have never had to file a claim. I signed up and payed my money and hopefully I will not have to file a claim this time either. It would be different if I actually filed a claim, then see how you go about handling it.

United States | 17 February 2025As I was reviewing my policy right after I purchased it, they had my address wrong. Had my correct street address with another totally separate street name thrown in. If anyone would mail something to that address, it would not get to me. I called them right away, but they couldn’t fix the address on the phone,I had to email them. When I hadn’t heard back from them in a couple days, I canceled my policy during that first period where I could because I did not have faith in them correcting my address. I did eventually hear from them they had corrected my address. But sorry-not sorry- you really need to simplify the process for such corrections. There are other travel insurance companies that can get my address right the first time.

United States | 16 February 2025World Nomads was recommended to me by someone who had been satisfied with his claim resolution. I used them for my recent trip to Europe where I missed a connecting flight due to mechanical issues on the first plane. World Nomads paid my addition flight fare without question and in a timely manner. I will use them again for sure.

United States | 16 February 2025Reduced list of options at great benefits/cost ratio covering most situations makes the selection easy. Great presentation of benefits and comparison of options. Overall the site is very user friendly, simplified navigation and clear well articulated descriptions. Great travel/insurance resources and blogs to complement the search.
