Russia | 19 November 2024Stellar Data Recovery is a great product, it helped to recover photos, videos and documents. Moreover, all the files were structured into folders, which is very convenient. And now I needed to repair some video files and Rohit, a support employee, helped a lot. I was already mentally prepared to buy a special program to correct video defects, but Rohit suggested that there was no need for this, since my version of the program already includes such a tool. He sent a new activation code for my program and was in touch in the chat until everything worked. A big plus of Stellar is that there are no problems getting help in the chat, by e-mail and Rohit convincingly confirmed this.

United States | 15 November 2024Stellar worked on one recovery effort (accidental user deletion) and failed on the next one (file directory corruption by camera). Both were JPG images on SDHC cards. I also really dislike the automatic annual renewal. This should be opt-in, not opt-out, especially since the billing is handled by another company (2Checkout, now Verifone) instead of Stellar. The 2Checkout website is insecure (no password protection!) and stores my credit card data insecurely. Plus, navigating the site to cancel the auto-renewal was clumsy, unintuitive and took several steps. Very user-hostile. EDIT: I added a star to my rating because of Stellar customer service's fast response to my concerns and their sincere efforts to resolve my issues. I'll raise it another star when they drop the auto-renewal policy.

Swatantra was knowledgeable but most importantly he listened carrefully to the issues I am trying to deal with in Outlook before answering. The one time he did not have the answer he made the special effort to put me on hold (very briefly) and get the correct information for me. As a Result I have purchased two Stella Products!
