United States | 27 December 202312/25/23 I called Stellar for pre purchase support. I wanted to know how to cancel the auto renewal purchased on their software. I spoke with Swatantra, who was very helpful, concise, and answered my questions quickly. As it turns out you can turn auto renewal "off" during checkout (unlike EaseUS). I have not used the software yet, but for pre purchase help and the ability to turn off the auto renewal upfront, both Stellar and Swatantra get 5 STARS! I will try to update on the actual software. UPDATE 12/28/23 : Stellar Pros: 1. Presale service was great. 2. Found .jpgs where EASEUS would not. 3. Can opt out of auto renewal at checkout unlike EASEUS. 4. Full scan of large HD faster than EASEUS. EASEUS almost seemed like it froze, but after two days it completed with more results. STELLAR CONS: 1. Stellar did not find or recover the QUICKEN files (EASEUS did recover QUICKEN). 2. Stellar did not find as many copies as EASUS of lost files. 3. Overall interface a little more difficult than EASEUS. FINAL VERDICT: I have yet to find any recovery software that is comprehensive but I would buy EASEUS over STELLAR if I had to choose one of those two.

Aanrader, ga niet naar een computerwinkeltje op de hoek en dat de fabrieksZegel is verbroken, kost je extra geld en de kans op meer beschadiging is groter. Italy | 15 December 2023UPDATE: I confirm I received a refund from Stellar in a matter of hours since their reply. They also got in touch with me in order to clarify the issue. The software didn't work for me but I believe it holds potential and should be developed further. ----------- I purchased Stellar Video Repair upon testing the evaluation version. While the latter did produce a partially recovered file, the licensed version did not. I pointed that out to them and asked for a refund. They downright ignored the issue. Instead they offered to try and recover manually the file, and they were not able to. Thus I submitted a request for a refund via their website, which was denied. Their refund policy clearly states that a refund is due if the output from the licensed version is substantially different from that of the trial version. Sent an email renewing my request, they opened a ticket and I haven't yet received a reply. They have never acknowledged the issue in the first place. They simply don't want to give money back. For the first two weeks they kept answering my emails super-politely but dodging the point. Then they stopped replying altoghether. Needless to say I am very disappointed.

Na eerdere uitstekende ervaring met Stellar met een gecrashte harde schijf heb ik mij weer tot hen gericht. Het bleek een zeer uitdagende klus, die enige maanden in beslag nam en waarbij ook een nieuwe technologie is toegepast. Maar met succes!!! Wonderbaarlijk. De service van Stellar betekent ook een zeer zorgvuldige, tijdige en gestructureerde communicatie met de klant. Kortom, ik ben opnieuw zeer tevreden over de door dit bedrijf geleverde service.
