The concept itself is great as I was struggling to find the time to book the bike in for a service, so having them pick it up was perfect. After that, the bike was in for a day and I was kept fully up to date on the progress. It did need some additional work, but I would expect that after the mileage that had been accrued. The bike was returned in great condition with a clear explanation on the work that had been done. In summary, I found it to be a great experience and will definitely be using them again when a service is required and the bike feels great!

Really impressed with the havebike model and had decided to give them a go after my wife's positive experience. The collection and drop off works well as do the communications during the process. What I appreciated was that they spotted some fairly significant damage to my bike frame (not their fault) which would have made the work pointless and were upfront about this rather than just going ahead with the work which had already been agreed. Whilst I was gutted about the damage which I knew the cause of, I think they handled it well.

Abusive and unethical. They kidnap you as a customer - Be prepared to pay double or triple the price of the "regular service" unless your bike is already in spotless condition. I wanted to service 2 bikes for a regular service (GBP 80 each). They pick up both and later say the cost of one is GBP 380 and the second GBP 170 (compared to the initial GBP 80). I refused and said they should focus on the servicing which is what I contracted for instead of trying to replace every single part of my bike with their pieces. They claim that either I go through the price they suggest (because of safety concerns of the bike) or that "they wouldn't even" touch my bike. After refusing, given their abusive behaviour, they took the GBP 30 of the pick up and gave me back the two bikes. I agree to service the cheap one and they returned it in worst condition!? We send it back again, and then they forget during 2 weeks that they need to fix their mess. It is unbelieavable how they try to twist your arm as a consumer and force you to pay double and triple the contracted price. Then the quality standards are appalling: after paying 170 gbp they returned a bike in a worst condition. The customer service and general manager are simply unwilling to engage as they know that what they do is simply unethical and possibly fraudulent. Companies behaving like this eventually go bankrupt.

So I had to wait a week to get a booking, but could choose the exact days for collection and delivery which is perfect. Then pay upfront online with a credit card. Got my bike collected and delivered within an initial ~6 hour window, but with a call 30mins before pick up. Working at home it's so convenient having a collection and drop off service , went for the intermediate service, a bit more expensive but the bike looks like new. Thanks to Renan for picking up and collecting , faultless. Also they replaced the tiers that I requested and quoted me before doing the work, which is great. Next time I might try to source my own parts and ask them to fit it. Recommended

Amazing service from start to end. Norman was the driver who picked up the bike and Daniel the one who returned it. They were both very kind and explained clearly what had to be done and what had been done respectively. All additional service was impeccable and I had also a call back from Paul Reed who addressed all my concerns and clearly explained why my bike needs upgrading to Deluxe service. Highly recommended!

First off, I found that an e-bike service-&-repair company which collects and delivers my e-bike to my home to be way more convenient than my having to get my e-bike to a bike repair shop and then having to collect it from there. Havebike's close attention to detail is well reflected in their post-servicing paperwork, as delivered on the return of my e-bike. I needed an e-bike specific repair - replacing the seat-post-mounted battery bracket - and after five local bike repair shops said "No can do", I was so pleased that I discovered Havebike, who are fully qualified for e-bike repairs. While servicing and repairing my e-bike, email communications were excellent - including my sourcing a part that Havebike couldn't get for 2 months, and getting it couriered over to Havebike's south London workshop. Something untoward occurred to my bar ends, so free of charge, Havebike fitted new similar bar ends which match my frame's colour, as a gesture of goodwill. When my e-bike was returned, riding it felt like it was brand new again - so I am very pleased to say that I am one very satisfied customer indeed, and I can happily recommend Havebike's most excellent collect-&-return e-bike servicing-&-repair solution.

I am now revising this review, although I should have done it earlier. Havebike and their team really went out of their way to help and fix my bike, and in the end everything was fixed and I was back in the saddle. I am leaving the original review text below for reference. The communication and delivery times are ok. The pick-up was a week late which was ok and they offered £10 off but never received the actual discount. What is upsetting is the state my bike came back in. The pain work is covered in grease / oil splatter and my grip is not only damaged but covered in black grease. My grip are bright yellow and I really don't appreciate not looking after my bike. My camera holder came loose and moved out of position. I have not had the chance to try the bike yet but I have my doubts just after visual inspection. Definitely would not use again.

Absolutely not use them! Is this is a joke!?!? I have decided to use them to repair my bike, as ‘online’, they seems to be very efficient! I had my bike collected repaired in 2 days, bike returned and the kickstand was broken by them, I had to send back, wait other 2 days to have it delivered. Just now, I have met Chris very helpful, I have inspected my bike and it is missing the plastic cap in the tire… the seats was absolutely not in the place! I have refused to take the bike with part missing by you…. I would expect the second time that the bike has been returned, for your mistake, at least a check inspection would happen… but not! I have paid every single penny requested but I have not received any service and I want a compensation, as this will mess up my schedule for next week! I am really disappointed and I am scared whenever I will have my bike what I could find again!!!! I am expecting my bike back by Monday 26/07/2021 and with all part on. You must improve your customer service as it has a lack in everywhere. I need to speak with someone ASAP and it is impossible to connect with you!!

Sadly I did not have a good experience the pick up went smoothly the drop off was at 7pm which I believe the latest is 6 pm and luckily a neighbour accepted the delivery. I found the back mudguard so bent to the wheel I was unable to ride the bike. Trying to contact have a bike not great as phone cuts out and the online chat basically one leaves a message, after many emails and "chat" I did have a reply and was sent a calender to fill in when it would be convenient to collect no reply so another email asking what was happening. I then had an email from Toby who said they could pick up Wednesday this week well that did not happen I have given up trying to message and I do want a refund as I have now taken my bike to a local repairers to fix the mudguard. I did message Toby yesterday evening and of course I have had no reply. I am suprised I don't think so. Have a bike do not have a customer service and when I the customer pays up front we do deserve a service. you have just lost a customer.

At the end of may they took the bike and refused to repair because was homemade electric conversion. This is middle of July and I'm still waiting for the rest of the refund. Really not happy with this company.

I am blown away at how professional the whole process was. Having a back log of weeks with other main retailers, Havebike picked up my bike and returned it in 48 hours looking and working like brand new. I was kept up to date through the whole process and technician cleared additional work needed with me. Will certainly be using you guys again for my next service!

I booked a deluxe service, collection on 28 June, delivery on 30 June. Pickup location was my office, and I was not able to test ride my bike on getting it back (work clothes, busy day). On riding my bike home, I mediately realised that the back brakes were not working, and there was no problem with the brakes before. I raised a query via the email option in the website, and haven't heard anything back. The webchat isn't working and the phone line cuts out because they're so busy, you don't even have the option to hold (does the phone service work at all..?). The lack of customer service is a real problem, particularly when I have a complaint and a faulty bike from something done at the hands of have bike, it seems. ========= 6 July Update : Unfortunately I'm writing again to share that the problem with my brakes was not fixed, so I have returned my bike for the second time. And for the second time, there has been no communication with regards to what is going on - I've not even had a confirmation that my bike is back and being looked at. I have waited 24 hours, as advised, for a response, but I've heard nothing. The webchat seems to actually be a guise for just sending an email, my direct email has seen no response, and the phone line cuts you off.

A easy and professional solution to servicing your bike. My local shops were booked up for weeks. Both bikes look and ride like new. Delivery service by Renaun and phone contact regarding parts all super. Thank you, you made a long overdue job easy.
