Chose to make a booking over the phone, as Edlets had contacted me seeing if they could help in my search, (a long one!) I missed the call but Alana had left me a message so I eventually returned the call and found Alana so friendly and helpful. I have settled on a New Town apartment for next spring which looks very nice and in a location close to Stockbridge and the Botanic Gardens. All the details were quickly dealt with and I now await details from the owner. Alana made it all very easy.

EDLETS have such flimsy contracts with their landlords that they can't intervene if the landlord isn't playing fair with the money paid. Also, once you've paid EDLETS the agency fee they'll hold onto it and hide behind their "non-refundable" clause in T&Cs even if given 6 months cancellation. No matter the circumstance, Edlets won't refund any money so avoid them if you can!

This is a difficult time for everyone. I disagree with the way Edlets have refused to refund those who cannot use their bookings due to Covid-19, when so many other lettings around the country are offering full refunds. However, that is ultimately up to the morals of the landlord. The unprofessional tone of the emails from this company with regards to the situation have been what has shocked me the most. Do not trust, and do not use.

Had to find somewhere quickly and for a good price, had great service ( and quick) from Dan Shipman, he sent me links to various properties within the area I needed and followed up by checking I had found somewhere, would recommend to all,

I had a booking for this week that I will obviously be unable to use due to the Covid-19 pandemic. My host was unresponsive when I asked how to get a refund. I have received emails and notifications from companies around the world detailing their response and the ways that they are taking care of their customers and employees. I have heard nothing from Edlets. When going to their website, the only news about Covid-19 is that it's a great time to book. Not only is this insensitive, it is criminal to be keeping money from people at this time. It is also irresponsible to be encouraging people to travel and to share accommodations. I am disgusted. When I am able to travel again, it will be with a company who is doing the right thing during these difficult times.

I had to change my booking and the ataff sorted it the very next morning from when i realised. Quick reply and would recommend using them.fab price for a central apartment for 10 people. ☺️

Responses were not always timely, but part of that was due to time differences across locations. Responses did not always address all of the questions in emails, but eventually all questions were answered. Individuals were kind and willing to work around a budget within reason.

Site is easy to use ... does not hide the location like Airbnb. Received a phone call from an agent who was most helpful in suggesting sites.
