We had a delay in our confidential waste collections, due to invoice issues. (Our fault, not theirs) We were over loaded and needed an urgent collection. It was sorted with no hassle at all

I spoke to Adebanjo on the phone and by three emails to request a collection and more bags but sadly nothing happened. Then I emailed again and Lauren arranged everything within a day and two days later our bags arrived

Shred-it are so easy to use, wouldn't bother using anyone else. Competitive costs, backed up with, do what they say they are going to do service. Highly recommend.

I agreed a price for them to collect and shred 43 boxes of documents not exceeding 1.7 cubic feet. I paid up front and the job was done. I then started receiving demands for over £300 more because the boxes were bigger than had been agreed. Fortunately, I had retained some identical boxes and gave Shredit the measurements which gave a cubic capacity of 1.166 cubic feet. They didn’t dispute the dimensions but kept pressing for payment. Eventually, a member of staff presumably very hard of thinking, explained that the dimensions equated to a cubic capacity of 2,015 cubic inches (agreed) and which gave a cubic capacity of 2.015 cubic feet (wrong) as there are 1,728 cubic inches in a cubic foot. I pointed this out politely over 8 days ago and suggested an apology and confirmation that no further payment was due should be sent. Not a word. So a company with staff both very stupid and very rude who will not be getting my business again.

I just had a superb customer experience with Shred-It, from my initial conversation with Dean, the information that soon followed with all the details I asked for including quote, confirmed contract with what would be happening and when, the subsequent collection by Shannon a week later, then confirmation of my requested service once complete. I was really impressed with EVERYTHING about the whole experience so many thanks all and I will definitely be back. The first lady to answer the phone was really clear and helpful. I had never placed a booking like this before and they made it really easy. I was then directed to Bobby in sales. Bobby made the booking for me and arranged for more secure bags to be sent out, the bags have arrived the next day before 9.30am Great service

I couldn't locate our orignal contract. Ayodele Sholola was very helpful, once clarifying several details, promised a copy would be e-mailed within 15 minutes. 14 minutes later I received the copy. Perfect.

I would not use again and would not recommend to anyone else. We are a small business and needed a one off service. Happy to pay the price and did so. The bags failed to turn up. We had to email and ask for them again. All the time the clock is ticking and we did not have time to fill the bags before collection day. We were then charged for again for another pick up and no account is taken for their poor delivery service. The staff would not discuss and sent patronising emails.

All sorted in a short space of time and arranged the visit within our timeframe

We made an initial enquiry through the website, and had a phone call from Bobby, he was so helpful throughout the whole process from start to finish and had amazing knowledge. Nothing was too much trouble and I will be contacting him again when I need anymore confidential documents collected.

We are a small company. It’s the fifth time I’ve used them, the first few times went ok. This time was different, It took a number of attempts to get through, and more to get pick up organised. I asked for a pick up 50 bags with another 50 to follow. The email agreeing the date was sent by someone else in the company, not my contact, and consequently went straight to spam. I was expecting them on a Thursday as the only date available this week.They turned up on Wednesday, and as there centre was closed have decided that if I want the stuff collected I have to pay the full costs again. As far as I’m aware I paid for collection and shredding,it wasn’t collected and hasn’t been shredded so I’m unsure why I’m being asked to pay the full cost again. I have no issue with paying a small fee for the confusion, but feel I’m being ripped off being charged for a service I didn’t receive. There are other companies out there who maybe value the customers a little more. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone.
