The website is well designed with good photos and accurate descriptions. The order and payment process were straight forward with advise at the end of a phone when needed. A couple of items I ordered had a long lead time however both were in stock a few weeks earlier than promised and full order was shipped well within the promised window. The delivery drivers were polite and called me 10 mins prior to arrival as requested and the furniture was delivered to the first floor room as requested, care was taken and the pieces requiring ‘building’ were put together quickly. All packaging was removed. The quality far exceeds my expectations, having seen furniture of a significantly inferior quality in several national ‘solid wood’ outlets I am really happy I did more research and whilst I was initially somewhat reluctant to buy without having checked the quality I recommend this company without any reservation. I love my Blue Chatsworth furniture which has received many compliments.

I was worried about buying expensive furniture from an online-only retailer, so was pleased to find that House of Oak also have a showroom you can visit. I was very impressed with the quality of their stock and their salesperson was not at all intrusive. The price I paid was actually less than some online warehouses. I arranged delivery and assembly. The delivery team were polite and friendly. They did an excellent job and left everything tidy. Furniture is solid and looks really good. Could not be happier to recommend.

A real quality product, very sturdy and came fully assembled. The natural oak materials look great. Communication and delivery was straightforward. Well pleased.

After various visits after delivery of bedroom furniture the ongoing problem isn’t solved .The delivery drives come installers have damaged the furniture three times trying to rectify a massive sliding door problem.Patience has worn out and goods aren’t acceptable to any reasonable person.Have requested a full refund and I await a response.

Order fulfilled quickly. Delivered by friendly staff who phoned an hour in advance to confirm they were on their way.

Shocking customer service, never buying a thing from these again, months and months waiting for our unit and when it came for the third time, this is after refusing delivery twice due to damage, we find out the that the unit we now have had been repaired and resprayed, all the inside is full of over spray dust, paint on the handles, if the owner of this company wants to argue this point out then pay us a visit !!

Great quality wardrobe. However, it's a pig to assemble. Lots of bolt holes don't line up and it's really difficult to get the bolts to take hold. It took me three hours to complete. Anyway, it looks great!

We ordered this table a few months ago. It states on the page it is hard wood but they have neither replied on email nor on call as to which wood is it exactly. I am appalled that they are selling a table for about a £1000 thats made of some horrendous quality of wood thats worse than an mdf even. It is by no means a hard wood!! I put a hot mug on it for 5 seconds and it stained badly. That slight drag of lifting a plate created a deep groove in the table and literally chipped the wood off the surface! Just placing a plate has left marks!! It is completely useless with out mats but imagine if somebody spilled a drink/food on it God forbid! Big crack splitting open in the leg among many other cracks. If I could put pictures/video here that would be enough said. I have called them and emailed them but customer service is nill! You get a quick response if you are wanting to buy something but not if you have a complain. Would not recommend buying from this company ever!
