Speaking with Nelson was a good experience. He told you exactly what was going to happen with your timeshare. He explained all the details that we had to do before putting your timeshare on the market. He is very pleasant and helpful and hoping to get your timeshare Sold.

Timely response, thorough overview, positive history, evoked confidence

We are just starting to use this service as owners of a timeshare property. To date, our contact has been exactly as stated by the sales unit. The staff (Joy) is professional, thorough and patient. I plan to use this service for a condo we "own" at Hilton Head Island and may opt to use it for one at Ormond Beach.

Agent was very efficient in setting up the selling documents.

Since paying $898 in Feb 2021 to list two RCI Gold Crown-rated timeshares in Hilton Head, SC, we have received exactly ZERO unsolicited calls from Timeshares Only: ZERO offers, ZERO strategy calls, ZERO inquiries, and seen ZERO proactive efforts to market or sell them. The listings are posted and left as is. Any efforts to move these units has been initiated by ME. I lowered the prices. I wrote marketing language to the listings (there was none in the initial listings). I have called periodically to check in (with slow or non-existent response from Timeshares Only - no persistence or proactive-ness on their part whatsoever). Despite me telling them when we signed up that our biggest issue was the high maintenance fee costs which do not fit because we don't want to keep going to the same resort year after year- we continue to be billed for maintenance fees annually. This obviously doesn't phase Timeshares Only- we get no calls, contact... nothing... to acknowledge their problems selling or any changes in strategy - I see no sales effort by them happening (with ours and with reviews that aren't simply written after a listing is purchased). They collect their listing payment and post your listing, and then usually don't answer the phone. (One email said the person I was trying to reach had been out of town... for weeks? Must be nice...) They "promise" on their website that they'll "work with you until it's sold". This is as deceptive as it can be- what it means based on my experience and what I'm reading in reviews *describing SALES or lack thereof' and in reading so many obviously VERY OUTDATED listings, is that a listing(s) will be posted on their site until you drop to $1, give up, or go another route like timeshare cancellation. When I signed up, I inquired as to why I should list our timeshares for over $8k each when their site had listings at our resort for under $1000. They said those were temporary and would be off soon. There are many more $1 listings today than there were when I asked the question!! Looking at reviews, be very wary about why the average review is pretty good (4.3 out of 5): it appears that nearly all positive reviews are about how good people feel after they've signed up-- they're commenting about the friendly, communicative employees in the sales process and their hopes of selling their timeshares- I saw a couple about successful sales but I find them suspicious based on the overwhelming evidence against having a lucrative sale. People getting a good feel from a salesperson is not a rational basis for a positive review for a company that is supposed to sell YOUR timeshare- not simply sell you an ad on their website!!! Skip past all those reviews- they're very misleading! Skim through a lot of online listings on their website instead- Many mention things like "Maintenance Fees paid through 2010" (12 years ago!). Then go look around the web for reviews and complaints (I just did), and you'll see people who have posted in 2022 that they've had listings since 2007 with Timeshares Only and have gotten no phone calls and not a single offer. Given this, it's astonishingly suspicious and misleading that Timeshares Only posts on their homepage that they are BBB Accredited with an A+ rating. On what basis? The happy listing buyers who haven't discovered the problems yet? Based on what I'm reading, these credentials are NOT based on sales successes ! I have to wonder when/if they "sold" any, were they for the initial list price of many thousands... or were they "sold" (i.e., given away!) for $100, $1, etc because people realized they were never going to get anything close to their listing price, let alone their initial asking price?! There are pages and pages of timeshares for our resort with prices as low as $1 for 3BR units like ours! I reduced ours by approx 40% after several months, but they're still not anywhere near $1. I highly doubt I'm going to recoup the ad price at this point- let alone the additional $1k a year in maintenance fees we're getting nothing for! "Working with Timeshares Only" is a farce. From what I see and have experienced, THEY DO NOT WORK AT ALL on the listings they sell for hundreds of dollars! The only work you get is if/when you can get someone on the phone and direct them to do something!
