United Kingdom | 08 April 2022I have been a member of PlayMoreGolf for a couple of years now unfortunately my home club decided not to continue membership with the scheme so I had to find another club near where I live I contacted PlayMoreGolf golf via email and telephone and on all occasions they responded quickly and dealt with my questions in a friendly and efficient manner especially Rachel who organised a round of golf as I couldn’t book it on line due to problems with my old club she also sorted my new membership at my new club had my first round today so thank you PlayMoreGolf

United Kingdom | 05 April 2022Corhampton Golf Club partnered with PlayMoreGolf in Aug 2018 and ran with the scheme until March 2022. During that period we had an excellent working relationship with the company. The partnership only ended because after the Co-Vid pandemic we had an upsurge in new membership inquiries which meant that we had no requirement for a flexible membership scheme. If in the future this position changes the club would have no hesitation in working with PMG again.

United Kingdom | 05 April 2022My third year now as a PlayMore Golf member and the experience has been excellent. The flexible points system works really well and as a golfer that has to rely on midweek afternoons and evenings it’s fantastic value. The ever improving app booking facility is easy to use even when booking for other Playmore members and guests. Once in and playing the opportunity to get involved at club level may vary but we’ve had no negative experience compared to full membership even allowing us back on as we moved from lockdown before visitor golf was reopened. Finally flexi points are a great way to play other courses and sometimes with favourable rates and access to better time slots. Can’t justify full membership, this is a great alternative.

United Kingdom | 04 April 2022Cannot renew with home club (Dudsbury) as they are coming out of the system. Only one other club in the Bournemouth area to join. This club is not an option for me. Lost 16 home points because of non renewal. Otherwise the system is a good idea.

United Kingdom | 03 April 2022I thought PMG sounded like a good way for me to get back in to playing golf after a ten year absence and not being sure how often I was going to be able to play. Now I wish I hadn't bothered and had just spoken to my local club. I have now spoken to my club who tell me they are not continuing with PMG as it is not what it was sold as. Although they have to honour my subscription to it for the full term I have. I can't get a handicap, and I can't enter club competition's. They also said that if I run out of points it costs more than PMG tell you although as I haven't reached that point yet I can't confirm. I was a member of my local club for twenty years and had a handicap of 6 and I was looking forward to playing in comps and getting my handicap back. Now I'm stuck with PMG as it was purchased as a gift.

United Kingdom | 02 April 2022Vincent Bartlett was a great help in setting up my membership. Wanted to keep a golf membership without paying huge fees for one golf club. Managed to join Play More Golf where I can have a home club and also play away courses. And use any money saved on membership of elite clubs to play other clubs or top up flex points. Seems like a good system so far. Hope it works as well as I think it can.

United Kingdom | 01 April 2022Joining PMG was extremely easy thanks to the admin staff at PMG. I and my playing partner love to go and play golf as early as possible whichever day we choose. Dartmouth golf and country club was an ideal course to join as it has a 9 hole as well as a 18 hole championship course to play. As I have only started to play golf again after 20+ years away from the game the 9 hole course is the ideal course to get back into playing regularly. However, when I joined PMG I was dismayed to find that the early tee times at many courses were not available to me, so, I have had to resort to paying for the early tee times to satisfy my and my playing partners needs, quiet disappointing. I was informed when I contacted my choice of home course that the early tee times were for guests and full members, but I was invited to discuss my needs when my PMG membership runs out. Having said this the courses at my choice of home course are absolutely superb, if very hilly. A good work out my playing partner says.

The whole deal suits me as I still work and can only play at the most twice a week. This allows us also to plat several other courses and take guests.

United Kingdom | 29 March 2022Flexible option compared to normal club membership. Got recommended by friend and we both got 10 extra points. After joining PMG were offering 16 extra points. No interest from customer services in matching the upgraded offer. Disappointing.

WARNING - THIS IS A SCAM AND PLAY MORE GOLF ARE ***KNOWINGLY*** SELLING MEMBERSHIPS WHERE THE ADVERTISED BENEFITS ARE ***UNAVAILABLE*** Please please please don't waste your money on this scam. Two issues for me: Firstly I joined having noted that my membership could be used to play the 2010 Celtic Manor course by using my flexi (away) points - I quote PMG's website here - "With three world-class championship courses..." followed by "use your membership to play all three courses". When I called to book a round on the 2010 I was told they used to allow PMG members to use their flexi points but did away with this long ago (prior to me joining). I made PMG aware of this over two months ago yet they are STILL falsely advertising this. Secondly, having joined CM as my home club I was unable to use my membership much during the year for various reason, but wasn't concerned as one of the conditions of PMG is that any unused home points would be rolled over to the next again year. I then found out a couple of months ago that the CM Resort were not accepting renewals any more meaning I could only renew by joining another club in the area. HOWEVER when transferring your home club you are not allowed to keep your unused home points. So I am now in the position where I am not allowed to renew at my home club to keep my home points and if I renew at another club I lose them anyway. They say the new club *might* let me keep *some* of my unused points but this will be a very small amount. So whatever way I turn all or the vast majority of my unused home points are going to be lost. In summary, they advertise benefits that are NOT TRUE and if your home club decides not to allow renewals you lose any points you have left. Of course it is clear that their activities break several areas of law and I have tried to contact them without success as they are never available on the phone and do not return any VM messages I have left. I am now reduced to my last resort and am today launching legal action against PMG which I am virtually guaranteed to win and they not only will have to reimburse me but also cover my legal costs. ********PLEASE AVOID THIS SCAM AT ALL COSTS. DO NOT JOIN A MEMBERSHIP WITH THEM, DO NOT EVEN BE SLIGHTLY TEMPTED********
