Was not happy with the packaging when it arrived. It said "caution, dry ice" but when opened, turned out to be packets with unfrozen green liquid - do not believe it was dry ice. The meat wasn't frozen (not sure if it was supposed to be) but it was still cold. I put the meat right into the freezer but have yet to try it. I hope it didn't start frozen and defrost and been re-frozen again. It may not be any good. If it's not, wasted a lot of money and they will hear from me. They have called me to ask if I was satisfied and I told their rep was not happy. When I try the meat will know more.

Steaks arrived on time. The are good steaks but I have definitely had better T Bones

Hello I had ordered an apron from the steak company. It came very fast! It is also a great material, my husband loves it and so did all his friends.

I've always wanted to try Chicago Steaks as we like to send gifts to friends and family. We have sent a different mail name brand of steaks before, as well as received them. I was very disappointed with Chicago Steaks. We paid quite a hefty price for 4 -14oz. T-bones. ALL of the dry-ice was melted when I opened the box (and I was home when it was delivered), when I removed the steaks from their individual boxes (they came two to a box) two of the steaks had the juice from the steaks on the outside of the plastic that the steaks were sealed in! I couldn't figure out if the packages had a small leak or if it was messy from the butchering/packaging room at Chicago Steaks? Either way, it was not at all a good first impression. The steaks tasted fine. Athough, no where near worth the money we paid for them. This morning I took the other two steaks from the freezer for dinner tonight and thawed them in the refrigerator. My husband went into the refrigerator before dinner to move something and the steaks had leaked their juices out of the packaging all over! What a mess!!! I threw the steaks in the trash. We won't be ordering from here again.

Filet mignonette was very good, but the cheesecake was not good! Waste of my money!

once you have eaten Chicago steak"s meat you will not eat any regular store's meat.

In my 65+ years, I don't know that I've ever enjoyed better beef. The filets are superb! I highly recommend them. And believe it or not, they will arrive still frozen.

poor quality, tough meat...

This was our first experience with Chicago Steak Company. We always purchased steaks from another well-known company, but we wanted to try something different. One could see the difference right away from the time we opened our package. The steaks were beautiful, well marbled and red. We grilled them and they were just as good, if not better, than they looked. We will be back for more.

Love the way the site is layed out! Very easy to shop for your specific need. The prices are a bit high but you get what you pay for! Easy to place your order as well! We order Angus Steak, my family is excited for them to arrive and try some DELISH steak!
