One star for Globelink due to their payment processing through WorldPay, which is not accepting payment with my Visa card, issued by a major Scandinavian bank. I have tried on several days knowing how bad WorldPay performance is from the one star rating on the internet, had several chats with my bank to confirm there is no problem with my bank or my card, I have emailed Globelink, I still cannot buy their insurance. The only reply from Globelink to my email was 'they cannot influence security requirements of their payment service provider WorldPay and I should phone Globelink to sort out the matter and maybe get the insurance'. I certainly won't be phoning from my tour in Asia as there are other insurers I know will process my card payment without any problem.

I had a very straightforward application process on line and got annual travel insurance for Europe without any hitches. I have never had to make a claim with this company, which would be the true test, but so far I am happy with the service.

Easy to deal with. Website is easy to use, and policy details clear and concise. Several things which are extras on other policies are included a standard, including several pre-existing conditions. However main thing that influenced my choosing Globelink was that whenever I had a query it was answered quickly and succinctly - put the other companies I looked at to shame!

Getting insurance was quick and easy, I have used the service quite a few times, my only thing is I thinking it’s a little expensive, especially for a short trip in Europe.

Have been using Globelink Travel for my travel insurance for 10 years and I would recommend them to all for the simplicity of the online purchase procedure and the explanation of the pre existing conditions is very clear.

Excellent service, especially as they cover previously pre excluded conditions (but with a high waiver) which in the real scheme of things is an excellent way of getting coverage. I would have no hesitation in recommending Hayley Marsh, who dealt with our inquiry in a very positive , professional and friendly manner.
