After doing some research on best travel insurance companies for non-U.K. Residents, I found globelink the most user friendly and easy to understand. You can also opt to be repatriated back to Australia, NZ, or SA if you are from there. The customer service was friendly and prompt with my further questions. The only downfall is that you cannot insure your gagets for more than £1000 (all up!). So if you have expensive cameras, phone, and laptop they will not be fully covered.

For a 66+ traveller,even with some health coditions,the purchasing process and cover provided was very good. As a UK citizen and resident I wanted to travel from my holiday home in Cyprus to Australia and back. No problem for Globelink Travel.

First time I've used Globelink and I was impressed with the website. Clear information, easy to follow and an instant quote - couldn't ask for better. However, you don't know how good they are until you make a claim. I hope I don't have to put them to the test!

As yet we haven't started our holiday but the lady at the office was very helpful and efficient . The email came through whilst I was still talking to her.

The process was very easy and simple to follow. The only reason that I did not give 5 stars was because the last age group listed was up to 84. Does this mean that you do not cover anyone over that age regardless of their health status? We're all living up to 100 these days and we're not about to stop travelling!

I have already introduced some one today. I had sent my review earlier without knowing that a charge of 2.57 euros has been taken from my account . The reason it was a non euro currency commission. I do not understand this as I paid in euros for my insurance quoted in euros. This is not a bank charge as I have already checked with,them. Please explain this extra and unexpected charge.

The website was very easy to use and pretty clear. My only confusion was that on the quotes, in text under the type of insurance it said a number of days, without defining it clearly as the maximum trip length. It was the only website I could easily get insurance as I hit the dreaded over-50 age group, and it was certainly the best value option I found after a lot of research.
