United States | 13 February 2024Ordered an Alpine W670 and KTA-450 amp. I am reserving my final review for the outcome of my current situation. Ordered bundle 1/8/24. I do the install last week and no signal from pre-outs. Everything else on the radio works. I contact onlinecarstereo. I'm within my 60 day "return" window, but you can only return something that is "in new" condition. How in the hell do you return something in "new" condition that has been hooked up to your harnesses? Anyways. I pay 25 dollars to ship a 300 dollar radio back to them. Lord knows what will happen and I presume I'll be charged a similar amount to have it shipped back to me. Anyways, I think the lesson here is, even though you think you might be saving a few bucks buying here, it's best to purchase from a local Best Buy, etc. If I had done that, I would have boxed the radio up, went to BB and returned and bought another one in the very same transaction. Easy. Now I'm waiting a week for OCS to get it, who knows how long to make any determination, good or bad, and then another week to get it back. Too much hassle to be honest for a new item I bought 5 weeks ago. **UPDATE** After onlinecarstereo's reponse with there offer to contact them was posted, I thought I would wait until my receiver was received by them. To my surprise, their lovely manage, Maria, contacted me and explained how they could help. And help she did! I certainly understand problems can occur and they occasionally do. What is important is how a company responds to an issue. Onlinecarstereo didn't make the item, they are selling it. The item didn't work, which wasn't their fault, and they are stepping up to the plate to correct the issue. I am so surprised how quickly they reached out and were actively wanting to make me a happy customer. Well, with service like this, which is very rare in today's world, I'd like to revise my previous concerns with onlinecarstereo. What Maria did in one single call is make me a ongoing customer. I can be confident that if any other problem ever arises, this company will do what they can to make it right. Kudos to you onlinecarstereo and Maria ought to train other people in how to help out customers. Thank you Maria. You are the best!!
