I looked at the commercial and thought the Fire blanket would be a great item to have, I also have A 5# extinguisher. I also bought more to give as Christmas gifts.

Great idea Safe fire retardant

I bought three Prepared Hero Fire blankets, one for each of my children for Christmas and one for our home. I've been married and cooking for over 45 years with never an issue or stove fire. Suddenly without warning a frying pan filled with oil on our stove ignited into flames that engulfed the entire pan and shot into the air! My husband grabbed the pan to get it off the burner, and I turned around and took the fire blanket from the cupboard behind me... I pulled it out and tossed it onto the burning frying pan.... and just like that the blanket landed and I must admit I didn't wait more than a few seconds, before pulling the blanket off and seeing that all was well! No more fire and no mess! It was so easy!! And when I folded the blanket to put it away, it didn't even look like I used it! I highly recommend this product. thank you! I have wanted to get a fire blanket for the kitchen for a long time. I decided this is finally the time. I got a pack of 4 because I also wanted to have some to give as Christmas presents for our kid's homes. They have young kids so we know how fast accidents can happen in a kitchen and we want to know they'd be safe. I was very surprised how fast they arrived. I was expecting it to take a week or so. I checked and everything is in great condition. Thank you! I certainly hope we never have to use it, but I am comforted knowing it is here just in case it is needed.
