United States | 26 September 2020I purchased an Oreck ProShield Plus Air Purifier on May 20, 2020 from Focus Camera. Since receiving the product I have had various mechanical problems. The most recent issue—-the purifier cuts off every 30 seconds or so. I called Oreck and was instructed to take it to an Oreck service center which was an hour and 15 minutes from my home. When I arrived I was told that Focus Camera was not a certified Oreck retailer, and therefore, they could not do any warranty repairs. I was told I would be responsible for the $150 fix. I was also told that the purifier was refurbished rather than new——something that was not mentioned on the Focus Camera website. I have since contacted Focus Camera and was informed that they have no responsibility 30 days past the purchase date. Completely unacceptable!

United States | 15 September 2020Placed an order last night. A pop up immediately told me there was a "processing issue" so my order will not be processed. However, my bank account reflects that you took the full amount out of my bank immediately. Im getting no response from your customer service.

United States | 31 August 2020Bought two tower speakers and they were on back order. It took 1 month to get the first speaker and almost 4 months to get the second one. I called customer about 2 times a month for more information. Every time they said the did not know when the speaker would, but would email me more details. I never got an email even after being told that at least 5 times. Do not shop at focus camera they have really poor customer service!

United States | 27 July 2020Horrible experience. I pre-ordered an item. Called to cancel the order, spoke with a female, who assured me that the order was cancelled and that I would not be charged. Then I received an email saying that they shipped the item and charged my card. I called them again, spoke with a male, who said that my order was never cancelled. He also said that they are cancelling the shipment and my card will not be charged. Then they charged my card for almost $1300 for an item I never received that was supposed to be cancelled. Now, I have to dispute the charges with my bank because their customer service and staff is useless.

United States | 24 June 2020This isn't a trustworthy shop, and the customer service is lousy. I ordered a refurbished PC from them that they advertised as having 1TB Hard Drive + 256GB SSD. Unfortunately, I learned well after the time frame for exchange or refund that the machine in fact only had a 500GB HDD. Customer service has been generally useless to deal with. Customers considering products from Focus Camera can easily find a better customer experience from another seller/vendor. Buy beware.

United States | 22 June 2020I looked at several camera companies to purchase my Sony A7R and had the pleasure of working with Igal Avshalom, who did an awesome job. He was more responsive and helpful than all the others I tried and was very willing to work with me which was huge for me. Since then have purchased a Ronin SC and had the exact same experience. Igal is quick to reply and very knowledgeable about the product. He even took time to help research and give me the right info I needed to pull the trigger. Having a person to go to for help is extremely beneficial to a beginner like me and Igal was awesome! Thank you for the great experience and service multiple times now and looking forward to more!

United States | 20 May 2020I ordered the Sony over-the-ear headphones wh 1000 xm3 bundle pack including earbuds and a Bluetooth adapter. So this company took my money and didn't give me a receipt or order like it never happened. In fact it showed up as insufficient funds, try another card. So I called my card and sure enough the exact amount was deducted from my Bank. I called customer service and focus and they were no help couldn't locate anything at all to my name or email, and at this point I'm steaming mad and upset and they suggest I'd talk to customer service billing, I called back and they're on Eastern time so of course customer service was closed. I asked for a manager or supervisor and neither were available or actually not even there? They still couldn't find me in their system which is BS because they sent me a welcome letter to their site. Somebody to return my call which I highly doubt it's going to happen so I'm disputing the order and getting the charge reversed. This company is horrible unorganized customer service who are not very bright just plain deceitful company that doesn't give a crap.

United States | 13 May 2020Company has not responded to any of my concerns. After 4 emails I finally decided to call. The only available person was to take orders. That person didn't know anything about their own products. Said they would have to ask a supervisor but he wasn't there. I fear that I got gray goods and my warranty is not valid. Never again. ———- Update: they contacted me saying that they would add an extended warranty on the headset but did not follow through. They have not responded to several of my emails. Makes it even worse when they offer something and do not give it.

United States | 07 May 2020Purchased an item from their website because they were close to my location. I could support a local business and get my item quickly at the same time. Order was "voided" the next morning with no explanation why. I received no email letting me know my order was cancelled. I found out checking my order status on their website. To top it off my money was stuck in limbo for a full 7 days. I DEFINITELY will not be ordering anything from Focus Camera or their sister site Lifestyle by Focus ever again.

I ordered a lens at their booth at the Wedding and Portrait Photographers International show in Las Vegas on February 27, 2020. I was told I would receive the lens about a week/week and a half after the show. No lens. I have contacted the sales person numerous times, no results. I had traded in two lenses towards this lens and paid the rest by credit card. About a month ago I contacted Ralph via chat on their website that I wanted my lenses back and to cancel my lens order and credit my credit card. He told me the lenses were sold and could send me a check for the amount and I said credit my credit card. It has been weeks now and I have not received the check or credit on the credit card. When I have sent emails to the company and Ralph no response.

United States | 28 April 2020Made an order with 2-3 day shipping, but haven’t heard if the item has shipped. It is supposed to come in tomorrow but have had no contact even after sending emails. A bit disorganized. Update: sent even more emails. No response. Order is supposed to arrive today, but no updates that order has even shipped. Don’t waste your money and time. Cameras are expensive so buy from a trustable source and don’t mess up like I did. Use Adorama or B&H.

United States | 25 January 2020I purchased a bundled item, a camcorder, carrying case, and memory card. The memory card was not delivered with the other items. When I contacted Focus Camera LLC to tell them an item is missing, the first treat me like I am clueless and did not look through all of the packaging. I confirmed that I double checked all of the packaging, looked in every pocket of the carrying case, AND checked the memory card slot in the camcorder BEFORE contacting them. I received a prompt response from Focus Camera LLC that they will email the tracking number when they send me the missing memory card. NO indication of WHEN the missing memory card will ship. NO ANYTHING. I had to go purchase a memory card—which I would have done at the time I purchased the camcorder if it was not a part of the advertised bundle—so that I may actually use my new camcorder. THIS is NOT what I would refer to as a good customer service experience—not by a long shot. I am STILL waiting for Focus Camera LLC to remedy the problem and send me the missing memory card that was supposed to be included in the package. All I hear are crickets from Focus Camera LLC. Very, very the OPPOSITE of happy with this experience.

On 12/17/2019 a shipping label was created, however as of 12/24/2019 the order has not left their store. After posting this review, I received an email from Focus Camera through Trustpilot. I responded to the email and Focus Camera blamed UPS for the delay. I was assured that my order would be shipped that day. The next day the order shipped and arrived 2 days later, or should I say half of the order. Again, I contacted Focus Camera and the other half of my order was going to be shipped that day overnight. It shipped the next day and I received the following day. To their credit, Focus Camera did give me a $25 gift certificate for my trouble. I will stick with my original title, Not a reliable merchant.

Being the proud owner of the decade-old Nikon system, I was needed help to understand what my future system will be, can I utilize my equipment, etc. I've read a lot of articles and reviews. Honestly, I made my choice and came in a store to prove it by holding the camera and lens together and ask some questions. I was helped with an intelligent approach by sharing the details and characteristics of the product. Some of them I already knew, but some of them were absolutely helpful! I was impressed how professionally-friendly it was done: no pressure, patience to sometimes redundant questions! I left the store without any buy... I gave time for reading and thinking - it was about to spend a big amount... A week later I came back - same friendly atmosphere and support - and I made my order. I'm feeling thankful to my new friends! Thank you, Ralph! It was a Great experience!

The shipment arrive with a total of 3 cameras and no SD cards - it should have contained 6 cameras and 6 SD cards!!!!!!!! These where to be goers for the holidays - now I am out 800 plus dollars and will not get a refund for weeks!!!!!!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH A COMPANY LIKE FOUCUS CAMERA!!!!!!!"
