I recently picked out a present that would be a gift from my mother to me. It was cancelled because they needed verification information. Fair enough. I called twice and left a message. No one returned my call. The 3rd time I called I was able to get someone on the phone, they said my order was cancelled and that I needed to reorder again. I got ping pong'ed around in the phone only to be told that there was no guarantee my order would not get turned down again. I told them I had the information they needed and if I could provide it for them to get my order backed up again. They refused. When I told the person o.k but that this was very frustrating and just forget it. He said bye very rudely and hanged up. They cancelled the order without notifying anyone. Only to receive this vague treatment when I called. I am NEVER soliciting their services again. I told them they lost a potential customer to Amazon. They have good prices but what good does it do when their customer service stinks.

Worst place to buy and customer service ever. Placed an order on 11/28 for the Sony WH-1000XM3 Wireless Noise-Canceling Headphones (Black) W/ Wenger Laptop Bag bundle On 11/29, received an email to notify that the order has shipped with a tracking number of 1ZXxxxxxxxxxxxxx95. Base on the tracking information, it was supposed to deliver on Thursday 12/5/19. However when looking into the tracker details, there was another shipment associated with it with a tracking number of 1ZXxxxxxxxxxxxxx85 but status as "Order Processed: Ready for UPS". On Tuesday 12/03, talked to a customer service rep via Chat Line and asked why 1ZXxxxxxxxxxxxxx85 hasn't left yet. Supposedly cs checked with UPS and informed me that I should wait for another 24 hours to see if the status is changed or perhaps wait until Thursday to see if both shipments arrive. If not, I should contact Focus Camera again. On Wednesday 12/04, checked shipments status and 1ZXxxxxxxxxxxxxx95 was "We've received a request from the sender to return the package" and 1ZXxxxxxxxxxxxxx85 was still " Order Processed: Ready for UPS". called Focus Camera and spoke to another CS. this CSn didn't know why the 1ZXxxxxxxxxxxxxx95 was triggered to send back. Either him or the CS from yesterday initiated the package lost claim with UPS for the 1ZXxxxxxxxxxxxxx85 shipment. later received an email from him about the UPS lost package claim and UPS will contact me for more information. He also ask if I would like a refund or a replacement. On 12/05, I checked with UPS on the lost shipment and they informed me that they only talk to the shipper about the lost shipment instead. I called Focus Camera again and unfortunately I talked to a very rude CS lady whom told me that there's nothing she can do and UPS will contact me directly and I should wait until they then. I asked how long should the wait be and if there's anything Focus Camera can do her response was no and hung up from there. I emailed the CS again to request for a replacement or a full refund asap, and received the response "Unfortunately we cannot process a reshipment at this time because UPS is looking into the whereabouts of the package. Since you will be out of town, we can process a full refund once the investigation is complete." If Focus Camera business model is strive to provide excellent service to customer then I feel Focus Camera should provide a replacement instead of having me as a customer suffering thru the mishap between UPS and warehouse or unsure when will the issue resolve and leave me in limbo or my payment hostage. There should be no reason why Focus Camera cannot provide me a replacement to my order while UPS is looking into the lost package. If they found it, Focus camera always can request for return like they did for the other shipment 1ZXxxxxxxxxxxxxx95.

I ordered the most high end Sony cameras, lenses and accessories. 1. The price is the best in the market 2. The customer service team is too notch and you can resolve any issues via a simple chat instantly. And it takes just a few seconds in queue to speak with them. 3. They are authorized dealers with great deal of equipments 4. Shopping is fast and free via UPS 5. Cancelling is free Duh! Experience is quick and pleasant. Will go back for my other camera needs. Thanks so much focus.

I thought most reviews of this website is real here, but my experience told me, most of them are FAKE reviews. I don't know whether Focus Camera hires people to write good reviews or not. But, look at those 5 star reviews"Good, fast shipping, good service", there are a lot very short and no experience reviews. Don't believe they are real! I register this account to tell my REAL experience. Their custom service is extremely BAD and SLOW! The average waiting time for online chat was 40-50 mins (there are only around 20 people before me each time), for phone call was 40 mins, and for email I even didn't get a response!!! When I finally started the online chat, their response speed also extremely slow! For every response I got, the average waiting time was 4-5 mins! And, the answer I got was always "They will send me an email when my education account is approved." I waited for one week, if I can get this f**king email, why do I waste my time with you!!!! I cannot believe they can get an ave 4 star by such a bad custom service. Their education program is extremely hard and slow to verify, You need to not only provide your edu email, but also student ID, even transcript. I don't know why do they need your transcript. To know your major or GPA? I also don't believe they can keep your personal information safe. Why applying an education account is such a DIFFICULT thing on this ridiculous website? I only need less than 5 mins on B&H, bestbuy, or apple. I guess they don't want to sell their products on education discount, but only want the tax reduction or attracting people by a good "unreal" deal, so they use this trick to limit the number of people who can purchase. Anyway, I need to say I am very lucky that I didn't purchase $3,000 camera and lens from them, otherwise, if there is any problem, I cannot imagine what will I suffer. I am a REAL person, and this is my REAL experience! Do not believe most of those 5 star reviews!!!!!

So I ordered a watch from this company on 12th of October 2019. Everything went fine I have received confirmation email, which also said that I will receive another email shortly when they ship it. I have never received anything, only emails that said I had items in my cart which wasnt true. So I decided to check the status of my order and I realized it got cancelled! They never sent me any notification of that! I checked my credit card and it was in fraud alert mode and because of that transaction didnt go through. I resolved the issue with my credit card company and went on website to reorder it again, this time there was a note saying that the watch is not available anymore and will be on backorder. Also the company will be closed between 14-22 october so anything you order will be shipped on 23rd. I have already paid my credit card and now since transaction didnt go through I have a positive balance. Zero communication, positive balance on credit card(thank you for that inconvenience) and no watch. And I couldnt reach their customer service for limited hours of operation. Good business model. P.S. This is respond to a reply from Focus Camera. Are you serious? Have you even read my review? Oh I definitely saw the notice that's what I wrote in my review and you didn't even bother reading it. If you go through my review again(please read carefully this time.) I have mentioned the notice and I placed my order on 12th of october which is before 14th.

I wouldn't recommend selling your used gear to this company. I was quoted $950 for a gimbal I was selling. I was told that was a miss quote and the actual price was $600 depending on the condition. My gear is always in great condition so I agreed and I was sent a UPS shipping label. I sent the package on July 24th and it was delivered July 30th. I waited until the 1st of August just to check in and make sure they received it. I was told that they didn't receive it yet and to wait 3 to 4 business days after delivery do to high volume. I could understand that so I waited and didn't get any word from the company so I reached out on the 7th of August and I was told that they couldn't find my package and that I would receive an email on the 8th. I got a call from customer service and they said since they lost my package they were willing to pay me $300 for the gimbal even though I was quoted $600. I declined that offer obviously, so an hour passes and I get an email stating that they found my gimbal but the supervisor wasn't willing to pay the $600 an that they were going to pay $300 or ship my item back. The $600 quote is what they value the gimbal at but the amount they pay you is based off of condition of the item and demand for the item. My issue is that when they give initial quotes they should factor in the demand of the item in the total before you send your gear. Adorama and B&H do it and I've never had an issue. I will be going on 2 weeks without my gear now because of their mistakes. I need this for work and it was only supposed to take a week max.
