United States | 07 February 2017Focus Camera is one of worst camera retailer I ever came across, I purchased a $1499 Tamron lens under the deal during ThanksGiving Week, since they listed as authorized lens dealer on Tamron. I purchased it without worrying, I received with a Grey Market lens, without 6 years warranty. I contacted the dealer and they said we never sent any grey market lens. now they are not taking it as retun since as per them they have not sent grey market lens. They are so irresponsible. customer care team is not at all friendly. they are not talking on this anymore. they sent email saying that "we cannot help in this issue anymore talk to manufacturer". I know couple of people who bought lens under the same deal and few of them are also going through the same issue. They are cheating customer by sending grey market lens and not taking responsibility of what customer has received from them. Don't buy anything from them.

United States | 22 December 2016I purchases a camera package from them as part of a black Friday deal they had online through Walmart.com. package was shipped however UPS delivered it to the wrong address. At first customer service was amazing until I asked to speak to a manager. UPS Admitted to their mistake and is going to pay focus camera for their mess up. When it took forever I eventually asked do my money back. They said not until they get paid. However, they know they will get paid by UPS they have been in constant contact with them. UPS asked them to send me another package while they still had an investigation open and they said no. I wanted to speak to a manager at focus camera because the customer service agent I was dealing with really didn't understand how upset I was and frankly I don't think she cared. When I asked for the manager they told me to call UPS and talk to their customer service. So, lesson learned don't order from them. If anything happens they are only out for themselves and they care very little about customer service.

United States | 24 November 2016I've read some pretty bad reviews on this site for Focus Camera, but I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience with them. I ordered a pair of headphones with a much more reasonable price than all of the major retailers were offering. Amazon deals directly with Focus Camera and had hiked the price there as well. My item was shipped on time and I was given plenty of notification by email of that process. They arrived sooner than estimated, so that was great. My headphones came in perfect condition and the correct color. I also paid for item through Paypal and had no issues with that. Overall a great experience and I would order from them again.

United States | 17 October 2016Not sure if another bad review will do anything to do this business as they already have quite a few, but I might as well add mine to the pile. This company is one of the worst online retailers out there (see other reviews as well as do a Google search), only wish I would have done some research on them first. I purchased a pair of headphones online for a price that was about $40 less than what other online retailers sell them for. Seemed like a good deal, purchased them and excitedly waited. The wrong product shows up; same brand but a much lesser model. The contact begins, back and forth for 3 weeks, finally got them to state they would send me the model I ordered once they received the incorrect model. However, once they received the incorrect model, they refunded the money and the case was closed, they are no longer interested in helping. The correct model I originally ordered is still being listed on the site at the same price I paid, which is a little frustrating. They are either very unorganized or use a bait and switch tactic that sometimes works, either way, I would highly recommend not doing any kind of online business with them.

United States | 26 February 2016I purchased a laptop from Focus Camera in January. It showed up with a few keys not working. I couldn't even get past the welcome screen since I could not type in certain letters. I contacted customer service and was first told to contact Yamaha?? I asked what she was talking about they she stated I needed to contact HP to fix the issue. Well they could not of course and when I relay that message to focus camera again they simply state you can't return laptops! Seriously?? It never worked from day 1..how is this my issue? I will be contacting the BBB and starting a claim with them. You can not sell items to people that do not work. Very bad way to treat customers and handle your services. Super disappointed in Focus Camera

United States | 09 February 2016I usually do not write reviews, but here I do just because I read all the negative ones before placing my order on a very attractive priced Canon camera bundle. I admit I was a little scared and decided to pay with paypal therefore. Placed my order Thursday afternoon, got my shipping confirmation with UPS tracking number less then 24 hours later, package was trackable within a few hours and arrived safe, sound and complete on Monday. So just a pretty good internet shopping experience.

United States | 14 December 2015I wanted to buy a pair of headset on sale. I first tried to pay with Amazon payment. The system showed that the payment could not go through. I paid again using Paypal, and received confirmation. It turned I was charged via Amazon payment after all. So I tried to get a refund, and the customer rep cancelled the order WITHOUT refunding EITHER Amazon payment OR Paypal. I had to file a claim to Amazon to receive the first refund, and had to contact them several times to request for the Paypal refund. Horrible experience.

United States | 23 June 2015I bought a pair of headphones from their site, and then never received any shipping confirmation. A month later they "refunded" me 75% of my money with no explanation as to why they never sent the product or why they decided to keep part of my money. I had to email them to get them to refund the rest of my money. Finally after a 3rd email, they explained that UPS hadn't been able to deliver the product and sent me a tracking number which verified this. At least they refunded my whole order.

I ordered a phone online from Focus Camera because it was on sale, and a couple of people I know also ordered the same phone. However, when I got the tracking number, it says the package was requested to be sent back to the shipper, same happens to all the people that I know. I called and asked why, a representative just said they sent the wrong item and they need it back and they will refund me the money but just not right item when the phone is still available to purchase online. Very bad attitude and I don't trust this company anymore. I should've trust all the review on Yelp that this is an unreliable company.

United States | 27 April 2011Worst! Instead of explaining to me or trying to make me understand, the representative simply suggested to cancel the order. With blaming the customer, the attitude was quite NOT acceptable at all. Shipping was quite lagged and slower than usual of other sellers. I asked for another representative since I was very uncomfortable with the attitude, the guy just hung upon me. Yep, I got hung upon! So unacceptable!

United States | 17 February 2010What a waste of my time. I ordered an item from them online, and a week later I received the wrong item. When I first contacted them, I got no reply. When I contacted them again, they said they were out of the original item and sent a “replacement” item instead, and they had sent me an email explaining so. First of all they never sent such an email. Secondly, who would want a “replacement” item without being asked first? When I tried to return the replacement item, they wanted me to pay for shipping. Then when I refused they said they would issue me a full refund, but they only sent half. It wasn’t until I complained again that they sent the full refund. In the end I got my money back, but it took 6 emails and nearly 2 months. Clearly this company will nickel and dime you every chance they get. Not worth the trouble. I give them two stars for finally giving me my full refund.
