C) they are efficient and do what they say on the tin. D) I am saving £840 per year by switching to Go to energy. I wish I had changed years ago. Well done go to energy.

I am not very technical but downloaded the app on my phone and can send in readings and keep up to date with bills etc.Was going to switch to another company at end of my tariff but after some thought I phoned go.to. energy for a comparison and they came up with a better deal !!So have decided to stay another year.

United Kingdom | 15 January 2021I have found GoTo energy not only to be one of the cheapest energy suppliers but have helped me through lockdown when my bill needed to be increased slightly but I was unable to afford it at that time which has helped greatly. I’ve only had to speak to staff a couple of times at the beginning and end of my tariff but have always been helpful with my energy needs when renewing my contract

United Kingdom | 15 January 2021Joined Feb 2020. April 2020, DD increased £25 even though account was in credit. I'm well aware winter bills are generally higher, I ain't thick, I explained this to them but GOTO obviously know better. Hey ho, Jan 2021 my accounts in credit by £449. Contacted them to request my money back but according to service manager, I'm only "entitled" to £241 as they keep two months credit as per their own T&C's. Very clearly told them that I will be leaving them due to this in March 2021 when my contract ends. Was advised that I still need to pay them my DD of £118 each month, on top of my £209 still in credit account otherwise I will be in breach of contract and be charged £25 for failed DD. My bills have not exceeded £74 a month since starting!! Absolutely criminal. Like many others, I've been forced on to universal credit during Covid yet these energy companies can "legally" hold on to hundreds of pounds of mine, whilst demanding hundreds more, otherwise I'm the one that penalised!! I have children to feed. My cash, which I desperately need, should not be used to facilitate energy companies cash flow. I'll be pursuing further. Don't waste time posting a standard company template to this. Anyone can see from all other similar complaints and responses that they are not individual or sincere.
