Refusal to cancel the callout and still sending a technician to site so they can bill even though the problem has been resolved. Starting a dept fair trading claim.

Australia | 28 November 2022Guy was nice and knowledgeable but I was charged for 1.5 hours when it was probably only an hour and 5 minutes at most of actual service (may actually be under an hour as it was cutting it close, regardless was charged $78 for the few minutes). Also I was charged for same day service despite having it booked for the following day, only for them to cancel it on the day and reschedule it a couple hours ahead, leading me to be charged a $30 fee for their own cancellation (a bit shady). Disappointed with the companies policies. Avoid them if you can and go to a pc shop.

Australia | 10 November 2022I have used Geeks2U on a number of occasions, and previously they have been great. This time however, I am so angry and disappointed. The technician bumbled around for almost 2 hours trying to fix an email problem I had. He was actually googling how to fix it, when I ended up fixing the problem myself (on both my computer and phone). He then went on to charge me for 2 hours!! I have emailed them twice asking for someone to ring me, but I still haven't heard from anyone. I have no problem paying for the first compulsory hour, but why should I then have to pay for the technicians inexperience and inability to do his job!! Very disappointed Geeks2U!! Update 24th November - Geeks2U contacted me and agreed to refund half the fee (which is good service). However, I still believe I never should have been charged for it in the first place.

Australia | 04 October 2022What an absolute joke this mob is!!!!!! had an urgent hacking issue, first appointment booked they call not long before to say the technician was "sick", then second appointment we rearranged everything and cancelled important appointments to get this sorted, was told technician would be here between 10-11, 11;30 comes around he still had not turned up, we had not heard anything so we finally called the 1300 number , of course no one answered so we left a message, then they finally called back and said the technician had a break down and someone was supposed to call us and never did. nothing but useless scammers dont waste your time

From their receptionist, (who is always cheerful and helpful) to their IT team they have never let me down I would recommend Geeks2U for any IT problem you might have. They will always be there to help you.

Very patient while I fiddled around following instructions, very clear in his explanations. No pressure. I have now used G2U several times with different helpers each time. Everyone of them deserve a 5 star rating!
