Being a bit techy I put in a Grandstream HT812 to connect to our existing DECT handset, and that seems to be working OK. Slight confusion on billing when I started, but Voipfone support optimised the package so I got the best value. Call blocking is excellent! Unlike BT, there is no limit to the block list, so you can block all the junk calls.

United Kingdom | 25 January 2025Voipfone is SO good. I have had Voipfone account for some years and it's hassle free. Recently we changed broadband router and the phone just stopped working. Tried everything then finally got in touch with technical via online chat and Ian managed to resolve the issue (router problem). I honestly can't praise Voipfone enough. If you want to get a voip number then use this company. The price is amazing too!

United Kingdom | 24 January 2025The voip adapter that I purchased from ebay just failed to connect to my network. So I purchased one from Voipfone. Part of the purchase was asking for it to be setup for my account. It was not the cheapest but I just plugged it in and my phone just worked. It comes with a USB power plug. Delivery via DPD was very quick, faster than I expected.

I got fed up with using mobile telephone apps, whilst low cost, call quality was awful, and lines frequently dropped. I bought a grandstand wp822 from amazon, and signed up originally to zoom (really corporate service), whilst excellent features and cheap, had nonstop issues, so tried voipfone after reading reviews. So far, call quality is good, call costs are super competitive, and their web site is easy to use even for a novice such as myself.

United Kingdom | 14 January 2025I've had a travel voip phone from this excellent mid-sized company for several years with no issues. Always been impressed by their high-quality and consistent technical support and competitive prices. So, at the start of this year, I decided to port my old landline from a major boardband provider to VOIPFONE's "Home Plan Unlimited". The losing service provider (perhaps unsurprisingly) did not honour the deadline, did not communicate with me or VOIPFONE and did not follow the proper industry procedure to ensure the porting process ran smoothly. VOIPFONE's porting team got on it very quickly, raised a complaint at a senior level with losing provider and managed to complete the porting process and all the necessery testing in 24 hours (the process normally takes at least 5 working days if everyone does their bit accurately within the agreed timeframe - and I had allowed 10 days for it!). Now I have a functionning landline, with unlimited calls, at a more reasonable cost compared with the major broadband provider. Thank you Voipfone. More power to your elbow!

In today's experience I had to break off from the chat to deal with something urgent which I briefly explained to Mark on line. He in turn chose to email me to give me the answer to my question instead of me having to go back and start again, very much appreciated!👍🏻

United Kingdom | 14 November 2024Incredibly easy to sign-up to the service. I signed up as a residential customer. I struggled a little because I chose to use a Gigaset VOIP base station to connect my existing Gigaset/Siemens DECT handsets but all was resolved when I realised that I needed the 6-digit 'password' that was under my profile in the Voipfone.co.uk control panel rather than the login password for their website. Their own base station is already configured so this was my doing. I am still to have the process of having my existing phone number ported in to Voipfone completed so let's see how that goes.

The only thing I would like to see is a truly unlimited home phone package without all the bells and whistles of a business package which most home users don't need.

United Kingdom | 18 September 2024I've been with Voipfone for a great many years. never had a problem, but today their support excelled. I run FreePBX internally but I'm no expert. Using the Voipfone app I wanted to connect our cell phones to our desk extensions so the business is covered during any time away. Using a Netgear M6 Pro as a base station means no matter where in the world I travel I now have my UK number with me at all times. That saves a lot of hassle and cost. Richard and the team were incredibly patient helping me to get this working and it really is a game changer for our office communications. A huge thanks to you all from SwiftMigrate.

You can speak to the same person at their call centre, I had the pleasure of speaking to Brian. He talked me through forwarding my mum’s calls while her broadband is set up. We were having issues as our phone line had went down in the office, we phoned customer services and got through to Richard who was very understanding of our problems and went above and beyond to get these issues sorted. we could not have asked for a better experience in getting this resolved! 5 star service!!

United Kingdom | 15 June 2024We've been with Voipfone since September 2011 and, except for the disruption due to a DDoS attack a few years ago, have had great service—hence our business has stayed with them. Reading comments here, I wanted to add my tuppence worth. Whilst there was a glitch earlier this month and payment was taken early, don't listen to the drama queens talking about theft and the rest of the bull*t. It was a billing error, was quickly notified by email, and the funds were returned. TBF, the service is so cheap you wouldn't notice if it wasn't. Take it as you find, but we can recommend them and trust them totally - that is the first glitch in billing for us in 13 years. Some people just come here to cry and threaten as they wouldn't have have a pair to do it face to face - I'm just happy they're not one of our customers.
