United Kingdom | 29 February 2024Port confirmed today, had problems connecting my Gigaset phones so resorted to the chat line, 20 seconds later (!!!) Ian came on and sorted everything for me. All working fine now, house line now on VOIP at £6 pcm inc VAT. Fantastic service and excellent value.

United Kingdom | 24 January 2024Very good value for money after moving from a truly horrific previous telecoms supplier (which consisted of a mis sold and overpriced 7 year contract) voipfone is simply amazing - no contract, very very easy DIY setup and phone support to guide you through the entire setup process, easy to see how it scales to whatever you need, everything is customizable, you only pay for what you need etc etc. There is a reason why they're the no1 recommended on the UK business forums, I can't imagen there is a better value supplier out there

United Kingdom | 16 January 2024Fantastic service with really quick responses to emails even over a weekend. Replies were real, not a canned pre-written response. Overall I've been hugely impressed by this service which avoided losing my long held landline number and I'm not longer at the mercy of broadband providers. I used a grandstream ht812 , not the model that voipfone provide instruction for but it wasn't too hard to figure out what goes where. Top tip: account number should include the extension too. A few non-connects until I figured that out. This tech is fabulous for those with a technical mindset. It's not for you gran yet.

United Kingdom | 03 January 2024I contacted them about my issue regarding my new job which needs a phone, the chat support asked me to go for SNOM phone and says it will work with my 3 5g hub. I purchased and upon testing the phone did not work. They tried to troubleshoot with me for 1 hr over the chat to no avail then I got fed up and returned for a refund. Tell me why this company decided to refund only 85% of my money just because I had opened the box and says they can’t sell as new anymore. Was I supposed to use the phone in the box without unpacking it? Too bad PS- I sent all components back to them but insisted on holding back part of my money.

Having trawled the internet for weeks wondering how on earth to keep my missus happy by keeping the home phone line activated since having full fibre fitted - thank God I found VOIPFONE last night. I opted to use the chat feature online and Mark A was on the other end. He answered all my questions ( and there were quite a lot ) and then talked me through the process of signing up to the right package for me online, going through the download of software for the PC and mobile and then rang me on the new system to make sure it worked.! He then went through the number porting process and what phones I could use in my house. Customer service has been absolutely OUTSTANDING, a very very rare experience in todays world. Hoping the number porting is seamless as well. Thanks Mark for all your help!

Each and every single time I've called because I can't remember how to do something or need some advice, the support staff are so patient and helpful and just brilliant. I so wish all customer services were like them!

Voipfone pros - Call quality - Customer service - Clear and honest pricing Room for improvement in these areas - No function for local international number or DID - Smartphone app - Desktop integration option eg. copy number + hotkey to call instead of browser extension - Allow single account roam eg. desktop phone > mobile app on same extension # Overall I would recommend voipfone for reliable VoIP

We have operations and staff in several different locations and sell to many countries around the world. The cost is ridiculously low especially when compared to current offerings from BT and the like.

United Kingdom | 27 January 2023I’m a residential customer, with a FTTP connection and no copper line. I wasn’t that fussed on having a landline and didn’t want to pay £20/month for one. Voipfone is a brilliant alternative - I pay £3.60 a month for a local landline number. My elderly relatives can now call me within their minutes as they don’t need to call my mobile. I have intermediate IT skill and was able to very quickly configure the Yealink W70B to connect to Voipfone. It was so easy. I also found live chat to very quick to respond and helped me with my query. I’m really impressed with Voipfone and intend to transfer my parent’s copper line to the service in the future to save them money on line rental.

Whilst I am only using this service for a personal UK number as I live abroad, I can see that this service is fully capable of delivering scalable switchboard services to small, medium and large businesses. Yesterday I sent an email to the CS team for hardware assistance. Within 15 mins, Daniel McKenzie called me back. We scheduled to have a session to check our system. He is so patiently understanding our issue. Initially he seems struggle to suggest any solution (because the way we set up the system). He has come up with several practical plans and tested these plans 1 by 1. At the end he has helped us to resolve the problem. We would rate Daniel and everyone at Voipfone 5+ stars service. Voip allows me to have telephone numbers in my home town as well as London. Voip offer a cost-effective service. I never have to manage them and when I contact them there's always a person (rather than a call centre) to move things on. Voip have been great at every point. I didn't even know I could operate in this way and yet have found major contracts in Manchester, for example, whilst on my bike in Cornwall! Excellent in every way. Thanks. Gordon Turner, solicitor

A very patient and knowledgable chap called Richard from customer services spent an hour with us to enable two handsets and we could not have done it without him. You don't get service like this very often these days.

United Kingdom | 04 January 2022I have been a customer for 7 years and have found them to be extremely useful. The ability to record calls is essential and it seems to work well over different sites. I am the first to appreciate the frustration of the attacks which Voipfone and others have suffered. However, they seem to have put this right and I refuse to give in to cyber criminals. I found that by diverting calls during these moments I could keep continuation of service. Prices are reasonable and line quality is clear.

United Kingdom | 26 October 2021Cheap prices, but their packages for the price are not worth it as their services are intermittent at best and would not get your money's worth with the constant technical issues. Always having DDOS attacks, which nowadays there is plenty of software and services to help stop these types of attacks and I have clients complaining that they can't always call our business due to these. If you are happy to have your lines go down for more than a few hours at a time and more than 3 times a month then go ahead, if you want a stable service look elsewhere.

All phone lines down, getting no calls... yea i know it hard for you but it's hard for me the customer... I am loosing money. If you don't learn from the first hacks then you will find that once understanding customers, will lose their patience.
