I got 5 order places, one order is missed or never got shipped because i receive the tracking But nothing happen and one of my order miss a box! That $500 misstake they make! Also customer service is bas, gonna Wait 2-3 Days to get answer back and everytime that take over 2-3 to get answer, just to get the good order that can take 2-3 week plus shipping so a month to fix the misstake they make!

Canada | 12 July 2023For my first purchase ever made from Hobbiesville, there was a mix up at the warehouse and they mistakenly sent out a much cheaper value item (~$150 per) than I had paid for (~$340 per). I was initially extremely stressed out and felt I had been scammed, but after reaching out to customer support I was eventually contacted by the warehouse manager who was extremely helpful and professional and he ensured that the correct product was shipped out to me immediately. I went from feeling duped one day to being extremely impressed the next by how the company and point of contact went about correcting their mistake. Even though I was initially frustrated with my experience, I will definitely look at ordering from Hobbiesville again in the future thanks to their fabulous response to the unintended error. Matt

Canada | 21 April 2023Everything you have read about this company's poor shipping policies, poor customer service, and predatory practices are completely true! I had read the reviews and thought my experience may be different since there are positive reviews out there, but it was a big mistake. I ordered on their online store, and initially, my order was noted to be delayed. However, the package was then lost, and they refused a refund, despite me not receiving any product on a large order. They placed the blame entirely on me because "I did not buy insurance" and told me that I would have to deal with the shipper. Do not let them get away with their predatory practices. If you do make an online order, make sure you are protected through using a credit card or PayPal. I escalated and was able to reverse my charges completely, which I am thankful for, since Hobbiesville was not helpful at all. I will certainly never order from them again, and have tried to warn all that I can.

Canada | 22 March 2023Dishonest store practices when it comes to online purchases. Ordered a few items and they sent the wrong items to me. Asked me to send the items back for a refund and still no refund after sending items back. I was then advised that they never received the items even though there is tracking and proof of the return of the incorrect items. Stay away from this store if you do not want to be scammed.

Canada | 01 February 2023They sell Route insurance without advising they limit Route's ability to resolve issues. They're committing fraud through deceit. Their policies need to be clearly stated and I need to be made whole as this policy was not stated at the time I made my order

Canada | 15 December 2022Ordered stuff over a month and a half ago it never showed. Playing tag with the shipping company that Hobbieville used and Emailing Hobbieville to find where my package is. No one knows. Hobbieville wont refund me or give store credit. I'm out almost $600 with nothing in return. Defiantly taking my business else where. Lol I've sent multiple email to Hobbiesville before and after I've posted this review and they haven't tried to contact or help me at all. Just a company that trys to show they care. They don't as long as they get your cash.

Canada | 05 November 2022I was extremely disappointed to discover that my zUPC was severely damaged due to poor packaging, especially after having purchased bubble wrap to prevent it. The fulfillment team did not fill in the excess room in the box, which allowed the zUPC to shift left and right during its delivery. Hobbiesville said they couldn't do anything because I didn't buy insurance..simply outrageous and predatory

First of all they use this awful courier name ICS that likes to move around your parcel around many locations until it get lost. Second, they say they don't offer refunds only store credit. But why would I want store credit from a store I will never buy again. Finally, customer service is not helpful at all they only say they can't resolve anything. BE CAREFUL, AND AVOID BUYING FROM THEM

I received correspondence a few days later asking to verify my address as they were no longer shipping to po boxes. I verified and they said that my order would be shipped out promptly. 17 days after my order was placed (including weekends) I reached out again and they said my order was missed and would be shipped shortly. Everyone was nice along the way, but waiting 17 days to ship and order is unacceptable. I was hoping for some type of compensation, but all I received was a 10% off coupon for my next order. I don't plan on making another order due to my unsatisfactory experience.

Most of all they did a very careful and calculated launch of a sought-after pre-order product so good customers could get one instead of scalpers. Other should follow suit! Highly recommend Hobbiesville!

Canada | 15 September 2022They used ICS Courier which apparently does not actually deliver your package if you don’t provide a buzzer code (according to Hobbiesville) but they still sent package knowing that. The tracking indicated delivery attempts on Aug 24 and 25, but no notice was left. I have a concierge so if they actually showed up, they could have delivered the package. The tracking never updated to indicate that the package was ready for pickup. It just updated every morning that it was at the branch for processing. I emailed Hobbiesville and they told me to call ICS Courier. I told them I tried several times but their phone was always busy but they encouraged me to keep trying. After finally getting through, ICS Courier told me that Hobbiesville had to authorize the delivery because they were the ones being billed. I emailed Hobbiesville on Aug 30 and confirmed my address and buzzer number and they replied that they would contact Canpar to deliver the package. When I corrected them that it was ICS Courier, they replied it was the same company. Nothing happened and the tracking has had no updates since Aug 31. I emailed Hobbiesville Sep 2 and Sep 6 for a follow-up and have not received a reply as of Sep 14. The package is still sitting with ICS Courier and it doesn’t look like they will do anything until Hobbiesville contacts them.

Canada | 03 September 2022What originally started out as great experiences, have now overtime gotten worse. I understand preorders can come with delays, but they apparently sell preorders on things they can’t give you a release date. Would not be an issue if the items haven’t been available for purchase for months now from other shops, but that’s the case. They have a great selection of items but save yourself the headache on ordering any sorts of figures. Customer service will also ignore your emails until you mentioned you opened a dispute with third party and will respond within the same day. Overall dissatisfied and hoping the third party or Hobbiesville will settle it. This is a great example of biting off more than you can chew….

Canada | 28 August 2022I ordered a 3d puzzle for my little brother's birthday and they cancelled my order 2 weeks later...1 day before his birthday. The reason was that they couldn't find the game in their warehouse. It took them 2 weeks to realize that and they don't give a hoot about their customers when such things happen. Most companies would at least offer store credit or a discount for a mistake like this but not Hobbiesville. They didn't even bother replying to my email. Buy from a different website.

Canada | 25 August 2022I pre-ordered a very limited folio set of cards from the One Piece 25th Anniversary through Hobbiesville. My order arrived damaged and it wasn't hard to see why. They shipped the folio in a box too short and too deep. They had to force the folio into the box that wasn't long enough to fit it, damaging it and the cards in the process. On top of that, there was no rigid support, just a thin layer of bubble wrap and one sheet of packing paper. So even if the box had been the appropriate size and not forced to fit, my order still would of most likely arrived destroyed. I am grateful that I paid for the shipping insurance through a third party. While I did get my money back I am now left without this, now effectively unobtainable, collectible because of Hobbiesville's actions. During my email correspondence with them, they offered zero accountability and stopped responding altogether. I absolutely will not be returning to them for future purchases. *Edit* In Response to Hobbiesville Response As I have reiterated to you with photographic proof, the folio was too long for the box you sent it in. The box did not magically become shorter during shipping. Beyond the appropriate box size you also only wrapped it in one layer of bubble wrap and one sheet of packing paper. After I sent the photos showing this you stopped responding to my e-mails. Yes, I am well aware I have insurance on the product. As I stated I have already been reimbursed by the third party I paid for coverage. I however have not seen any form of accountability on your end. Only continued scapegoating. Your response to my review here is exactly what I am talking about.

Canada | 14 July 2022This was my first time ordering something from their online store for local pick-up. When I went to collect my order the person at the cash asked me to verify the contents before I left, which I really appreciate, it's good attention to detail. It turns out they had put one incorrect item in my bag (a big-box expansion rather than the base game), so it was good that I checked. They immediately checked the local stock and when they didn't have the game I'd ordered on the shelf they got on the phone and had a copy driven over for me right away. So a minor mistake in fulfilling the order resulting in (IMO) exceptional customer service. This and their prices means I will absolutely be back to buy from them again.
