I’ve had good experiences with Hobbiesville! Their prices are the best I’ve found locally. I happen to live in Ottawa where they’re based so I have both placed an online order and visited their store in person. I visited when they were offering 10% off in person and got a really good deal as well as a great pull. The staff member I talked to was really friendly. While my online order did take a few days to ship, once it shipped it arrived to me very quickly and hassle-free. I would definitely place an online order with them and I’ll be back to visit their store in person!

Prices are on par with bigger stores. But you can sometimes get jaw dropping deals on cards and their customer service is fantastic! Can’t wait for my next 3 orders to come in! A little iffy with ICS shipping but that’s not on hobbiesville.

Ever since I discovered this place, it's been nothing but great service, fast turnarounds and great prices. Also the only source in town for Japanese pokemon cards, which is great!

Ordered hockey cards over 3 weeks ago with no update on shipping via tracking. Either lost in transit or stolen by this degrading shipping company ICS courier. Do not trust their shipping policies as it has not yet been delivered nor any updates from Hobbiesville or ICS. A chargeback is being processed.

Paid $20 for Canada Post shipping and what do I get? Some random shipping company called ICS. If you’re going to offer OTHER shipping companies, actually withhold that. I feel like I got scammed out of $20 since I needed it to be delivered to a parcel locker in my building. Not to mention, what kind of shipping company tries to deliver a parcel at 7:30am with NO phone call?? Actually ridiculous.

I have ordered 3 times in the last 3 months. I order Pokemon cards. The first time, everything was great except shipping was a bit slow (ICS courrier), I'll talk about that later. The second time, someone at Hobbiesville packed a wrong product. When I received the order, I called in and the gentleman was very helpful on what to do. They asked for the shipping contents label (but there was none). He apologized and then expedited the missing items. He also gave me a partial refund as the new shipment did not have one of the items I ordered as it was out of stock. The third time, I saw that the shipping label was created, but nothing shipped for 7 days. I called in and the gentleman apologized and created a new shipping label. (I am still waiting for that package from ICS). I recently called in and asked if they can use a different carrier than ICS. The answer was no (I usually choose the free shipping). I also asked if they would do a price adjustment because the item dropped from $209 to $169 during the 2 weeks I have been waiting for the item. The answer was no, because they buy from the supplier and prices vary from time to time. I also asked if they price match an online competitor with the same item in stock. The answer was no. Overall opinion: Its a decent online store, where the service level varies. The prices are a bit higher so definitely shop around to price compare. Shipping is awful with ICS, the updates are not real time and the item could be out for delivery on a truck and you still don't get it for 2-3 days. If you are not in a hurry and the price is right, I would still shop here. The search function is not the greatest and the instock filter does not work great.

Do not order from Hobbiesville online. It was a horrendous experience. I placed an order to be shipped through Canpar as they were listed as 5-6 days shipping time for $12. 5-6 days shipping time is key to my decision making process here. I received an email from Hobbiesville saying that Canpar cannot ship to my PO Box - so Hobbiesville changing the order shipping to Canada Post for which I was sent an invoice of $0.01. Wow, okay. I guess I'll use my credit card again for one penny. Oh wait. The website won't take my credit card for such a small payment. So now I can't get my order through without speaking to Hobbiesville support. I email them for help and then spend the next two weeks waiting on them to sort this out. At this point, I'm getting fed up and would like to cancel my order to take my business elsewhere. I find out that they have an order cancellation policy in which they will only refund in their store credit. Another week passes. I get another email from them. They tell me that they've got it sorted and the order will go through. I then receive another email stating that I need to pay them $10 to go through Canada Post.

Order was slow to arrive, which I understand is because they just moved locations, so I won't really ding them for that. I was very disappointed in how my order was packed though. I ordered a 50 pack of Beckett Sheilds with my cards and they're so twisted and bent they aren't really useable. Some of their prices are a little high too, so shop around before buying from them.

They delivered my Elite Trainer boxes quickly after the holidays! There was a slight delay cause of Covid and Floods in BC but all in all they did an amazing job! Can’t wait to get my booster case of Chilling Reign 🤟🏻

Everything arrived on time. The packages were in excellent condition upon arrival. Definitely will be buying from them again

I buy all my collectables and Pokémon TCG products here. Never had any issues. Been a customer for a yr now. Their customer service is quick to resolve issues if any at all. Will note though that shipping will be delayed if you have pre-ordered items with your purchase and will have to pay a little extra to separate and have in stock items sent asap. I recommend buying preorders separately to avoid this!

I’ve lost so much respect for this online store since they started WAY over charging (scalper prices) and having only bundled deals for certain products. Meaning you can only get your hands on a new item, if you buy an old item nobody wants(not a discounted deal either). Also they start their pre orders the day the product is announced which is rediculous. Paying so early and waiting 3+ months for a product you don’t even know if they will have proper allocation for so you might receive later than release. So I’ve ordered through Hobbiesville a couple times now, and haven’t been disappointed with the prices I paid ( the sezzle payment option is wonderful as well ), I haven’t been disappointed with the way my item has been. The last order I made though, on no fault of Hobbiesville at all! It was a canpar thing had a difficult time making it’s way to me ( and not by a long shot ) just kept showing it was being held which was so strange ! Which brings me to why I am writing this review, I called Hobbiesville not once but 2 different times to see if they could see anything different on their end or if canpar reached out to them, and both times I got the same fella on the phone. Let me just tell you, not only was he a gem of a person to speak to, but he made me laugh, we had a wonderful conversation on both calls and each time I got off the phone I felt like I had an in store experience over the phone! He was as helpful as he was able to be given what he had to work with ( again totally was a canpar thing not anything to do with Hobbiesville) and when calling the second time, not only was it a wonderful phone call again but he even said he was going to see if he could reach out to someone at canpar about my package. As of this morning it now shows that my package will in-fact make it just in time for my birthday, and I’m not sure if it was something he did on his end, or just a system glitch that fixed itself. All I know is I really appreciated his time, conversation, snd how I was made to feel like a in store customer instead of some random who ordered something online. It was amazing.
