Canada | 15 July 2021I ordered the Pokémon Chilling Reign Elite Trainer Box Bundle of 2 and the package arrived today, which was earlier than it was supposed to, so I was thrilled and exacted to see what I could pull. Instead of the ETBs I was instead sent 2 of the Shining Fates Dragapult V collection pack. Everything seemed good so I’m just gonna write it off as human error but those are very different things so i don't know how this could happen. Kinda disappointed but im not interested in dealing with returns so I guess im just gonna keep them. **UPDATE** After leaving this review i was contacted by their support team and they offered to send me the ETB's free of charge and they got here within 3 days of the original packages arrival! I am beyond thrilled and can say that my faith has been restored with the company and ill definitely be purchasing from them again!

I didnt hear back until 1 week later. They said both are valid products to buy. I went to go buy the cheaper one, only to find out they put the price even higher and the other one out of stock.

Canada | 13 July 2021We ordered 2 champions path ETB. Hobbiesville mistakenly sent us 6 boxes of yugioh maximum gold. We emailed to let them know about the mix up and they asked us to return the boxes back to them. We agreed and asked if we would still receive our original order as it now shows champions path etb sold out online. Told that they wouldn’t ship us our boxes of Pokémon cards until they received back the yugioh cards they sent us by accident. Now we will have to wait over a month to get the cards we already paid for and should have arrived last week. if we ever receive them. Terrible customer service. Makes us feel like we stole the cards even though they shipped them to us and we alerted them to the mix up.we were also told they would email us as to when the pickup from the courier for the yugioh cards would be and no one let us know. My mother in law was at our house and said someone knocked at the door asking for a box. We hadn’t said anything to her as we didn’t have a pick up date yet and usually no one is home at this time. So when they email us back with a time and date I would love to book the day off work to sit and wait for the courier to pick up this box with over 800 dollars of yugioh cards. Assuming this is trying to be swept under the rug so no one gets in trouble but will be canceling our big order in august for the evolving skies boxes if this is not fixed. Friends recommended this site saying it was always good to them, very unfortunate to be let down.

Order was cancelled after the release date due to shipping amount. “We recently cancelled your order for Dragon Ball Super - Collector's Selection Vol.1 as the shipping costs have changed and we are not able to facilitate the order at the prices paid upon checkout.”

I often pay with sezzle as it gives me the option to pay for the product over 4 separate payments. I’ve recently pre ordered the chillin reign booster box combo and can’t wait for it to arrive later in June. 10/10 would recommend hobbiesville.

Canada | 20 May 2021I placed an order for a booster box of Battle Styles for the Pokémon TCG. Ordering was easy and delivery was smooth and lightning fast. My problem was with how the package arrived. It was all accounted for and in good shape but the plastic on the box was torn off and inside the cardboard box. Any collector knows this is a big No No as the packages could have been weighed and changed. I still intend to open the packs but if we’re to order again and see it in the same condition I would be looking for a way to get a refund.

United States | 19 April 2021I ordered all of my Pokémon Battle Styles preorders with Hobbiesville, and I was so excited because I got everything at a nice preorder price. However, once it was time to ship, some items were available to ship and some weren’t. That’s fine! I get it’s a crazy time, so that wasn’t a problem. The problem, to me, was that once it was announced that some items were delayed, they added that if we wanted them to split the order to send what they had available then send the rest later, to shoot them an email. Well, I shot them an email and they said “sure!” But I’d have to pay $8 shipping. Pass. I just waited patiently for my things to come (and still waiting) I just wish they would’ve said that they’d charge extra shipping initially. Even so, not a big deal. What I’m more really just disappointed about is to see their prices. They did a raffle for people to have a chance to buy Shining Fates (1 item per person) because they wanted to give their customers a chance. Only for the prices to be above market value (+$20-$60 more than MSRP) 🤡 What’s the point of doing a raffle for your customers to have a chance if we can buy product at a cheaper price than you’re selling for a new set. Do better, guys. Even now, PREORDER prices for new sets are so meh. They saw the opportunity to charge more and they took it. Even though I know I’m just one customer and don’t really matter, I wanted to like Hobbiesville so much and support them, but it’s very apparent that they are money hungry (as are all businesses) but when there’s an article that says this “His story is one of trial and error, growing pains, and boundless passion. It’s the latter attribute that he wishes to convey to his new customers, basing his whole shop around his community and the love for TCG and collecting alike.” It doesn’t really add up anymore. Yes, distributors MIGHT be charging more, but not enough for you not to sell at MSRP. I’m just really disappointed. I hope they really think about their business moving on and if they’re really still about the community and the love for TCG.

Canada | 08 April 2021Buyer beware! They dont offer refunds on products even ones that haven't shipped. This is stated on their website but not before you place your order. Guess I shouldve went searching through your policies before purchasing an item? Seems strange. Everything else is made to make the shopping experience so fast and easy and regret free! So I found out the product was way over priced a day later, the product hasnt been shipped at this point so I ask for a refund. Kate responds and coldly says "if you read our return policy you would know we dont offer refunds". The toy hasnt left your store. You should be on the side of your customers if you want continued support. You know... When my kid came asking me for the new digimon box I figured I'd surprise him and get one. Hard to find! I had no idea. Finally I get one online and its a whopping $200! I figure ok thats pricey but kids toys these days are pretty expensive so I bite I buy it. Then the following day Im dropping my kid off to school and I see a trading card shop so I say what the hay I pop in. Tell the guy at the counter what I paid his literal response was "Wow you got robbed!" So youre scalping prices for kids toys and using a hidden no refund policy and gauging unsuspecting parents like me. NICE BUSINESS MODEL YOU GOT THERE.

United States | 04 April 2021So I saw items in stock about 3 months ago and spent quite a lot of money... it’s been 3 months with no updates and in all honesty, I forgot I had placed an order. If it weren’t for me looking through my emails they may have gotten away with over $300 worth of items they did not send me. Very disappointed sent an email today but at this point I would just like my money back. Some good items that they probably don’t even have any more. Seriously disappointed with the quality of service from this online store.

Figured that the shipping might take up to a month to get due to an influx of shipping due to Christmas. Little did I know its almost April and still have not received my hockey tins. Reached out to Hobbiesville many times and their system takes a few days to get back to you. Keep being given a. Answer as your tins are shipped or we didn't send you an email to update your order so it didn't ship out yet. This card dealer has brutal to work with customer service and their shipping is down right horrendous. I would not recommend dealing with Hobbiesville ever again. Thanks for you time.
