DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE!We’ve had ours over two months and it just doesn’t work. The locator takes 15 minutes to load and then says they must be out of range when I just spoke with her. She is unable too send pictures through text, unable to do group texts and her phone rings about 3% of the time when I call her even when she has full bars. The Bluetooth won’t connect to anything. I have been on the phone with Mint and pinwheel customer support for over two months. Both companies are blaming the other one for the issues. I have reset the APN via their instructions four times. I asked Pinwheel to replace the defective phone and they told me they won’t because I have had it too long. This a %#%@ phone and $&@ company. I’m so frustrated and disappointed by their lack of customer support.

My daughter has had a Pinwheel phone for 2 years now. I'm really happy with the Pinwheel software. Approving or rejecting contacts is easy thru the caregiver portal as well as making schedules, adding apps etc. I definitely recommend Pinwheel to all who are trying to limit their kid's access to social media apps etc. My daughter loves the look of her smart phone and I love the security of the software.

We love our Pinwheel phone for our 12 year-old. When she lost it, we were able to track it to the Alaska Air baggage claim in Kauai! I LOVE that it doesn't have a browser and is used mainly for communication, reading, and listening.

We have been a customer for almost 2 years and wanted to see if I could upgrade my son's phone. I want to upgrade because current phone was just not performing like it use too. Sound quality etc. The pinwheel interface has been great though. The customer service representative was very helpful.

We have been unhappy with the slim phone we purchased, and wanted to upgrade to the better quality plus phone. Ems was super helpful with getting us some money back on our first purchase to use towards the upgrade, and walking me through the upgrade process. I love the concept of Pinwheel, and am optimistic that we'll have a better experience with the new phone. Troubles we had with the slim were: spotty service/data connection, bark shutting down randomly and after every restart/upgrade, location services not working correctly (I'm assuming due to poor service).

I'm still waiting for the phone, I ordered back in June 28th. We have been emailing back and forth. All that's being told to me that they're in and I will be receiving a tracking number; but I still haven't received that tracking number.

We started with Pinwheel when it was first getting off the ground. Things were a little rocky as first but we knew the concept was worth it. Now that my second child has Pinwheel and they have figured things out, I can't say enough good things about them. I think Pinwheel is the best option for a child learning to be responsible with a phone. Thanks Pinwheel for making something for us parents that want our kids to have a phone as a tool and not a toy to be addicted too.
