We really love our new mats. They are rubber and Cork combo, quarter inch thick 3 foot mats for our workout room. They were expensive, but we love them and they are worth it. They’re cut well-the edges lock together perfectly. The freight charge was outrageous though. It was a small pallet of 3 foot mats. We only needed nine mats, but they included a few extra. Still, the pallet was very small and compact. The shipping charge was over $400!! We have received several freight deliveries recently, bigger, and heavier, from farther away and nothing has come close to this cost.

This product is very well made ! If I owned my own house, I would put these in every room ! We made our Grandchildren their own area for play and they love the Great mats. These are also water resistant and very easy to Clean ! I would purchase more again soon :) Keep up the Good Work !!!

We had these sent to our home and the driver had to bring them up a gravel drive with a pallet jack. Amazing service from Dayton Freight. The quality of the squares is very good, and installation (in process now) is very easy.

Hi Greatmats, We got our mats but honestly I feel you did put us in a dangerous situation. You contracted a freighter who wasn't equipped to deliver properly. The freighter/delivery did not have a forklift and you sold us very heavy and awkward material. The delivery was stressful for us. I think you should really consider the freighter as an extension of your product. Someone could have hurt their back trying to get the goods out of the truck and or the goods could have been damaged in the process, possibly falling out of the truck. If you have any questions regarding this you're welcome to call.

My experience with Greatmats was quite good. Customer service was extremely helpful, knowledgeable in confirming my exact floor needs, dimensions and shipping details. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars was because of the getting the marley from the entrance of my building into my studio. Gate service, where the floor is delivered as far as the main entry of your location, is a problem. I recommend future customers be warned marley rolls are prohibitively heavy and absolutely cannot be carried by 2 or 3 people. It requires having your own additional moving equipment. I had to get building management, several men and a hand truck to be able to get the marley into my building. Once you are past this hurdle, everything else goes smoothly. My new floor is beautiful.

I love Greatmats! I have made 2 orders within the last 4 years and I highly recommend the raised waterproof 5/8” floor tiles to anyone that has a leaky basement, and anyone that needs a temporary dance/exercise/workout floor that you can install and remove in a short amount of time. We’ve had a leaky basement for over 30 years and needed a temporary bedroom in the basement for a grandson. I ordered enough tiles for a room in the basement because that was the only option we had at the time. Every time it rained heavy I would have to remove the tiles so the floor would dry underneath and I would then install them. Installing them so easy and truthfully I didn’t mind the work because it was a workout for me. I received my orders within a couple of days. Keep up the Great work Greatmats!!! 😊 Carol J

The mats we bought are of great quality, perfect for my son to train in taekwondo and work out at home. It’s also a great space for me to do yoga or for my grandkids to have a place to play. They add a very professional look to our space. I know we will get a lot of use out of this area. The online calculator was helpful, but I did end up reaching out via email to a representative to check my order. He ended up suggesting fewer mats for our space. We did have to adjust at the end of installation bc of the direction the mats have to be in to interlock. We ended up cutting the interlocking edges off to make a straight edge strip on one end of the wall. It is not noticeable at all, but I do wish we’d added a couple of extra mats to our order to avoid having to do this. Since it’s such a tiny area overall, it’s ok, but if it had been a bigger area, I probably wouldn’t have been so happy about it. Shipping cost was very high, and we didn’t want to have to pay that just for a couple of extra mats. Overall we are thrilled with the quality and look of these mats!

The product is great. The customer service at Greatmats was responsive as best they could. The shipper was AWFUL! I was assured by the shipping office that they would call and let us know when they would arrive. I was told this twice by the shipping company since they originally said they'd deliver on a Tuesday and then it was Wednesday and finally got the product on Thursday. I was told they needed a 9:00 to noon window. OK. I was told the drive would call when he was heading to us. NO call. Instead, we accidently caught the delivery as my husband was leaving to go to the bank. The driver was leaving. He set the pallets (4 of them) in front of the door. He told us he was instructed by their office to just leave them outside the door. No call, nothing. Luckily, we caught him and he was nice enough to take the pallet jack and put them in our building. So first part of the transaction was great. The rest...didn't reflect well on you. Might want to have a chat with them about this one.

The tatami style mats finally arrived via a shipper that helped get them off the truck. However there was delay caused by emails when it was questioned I really did have a dock door. So everyone, make sure they know for sure--checking off the box apparently is not enough. The mats were great.

Excited to get your product. Exceptional quality and looks nice in my basement. Thankful we will be able to take up the tiles - if we get any water due to heavy rainfalls ( as we had this early summer). We numbered the tiles on the back as we laid them - this way we know where each tile goes if they ever need to come up due to water. My reason for the four out of five star - we ordered the dark gray and I would say the color in our basement showed it closer to a denim blue color. I don’t mind the color but I was expecting dark gray. The daylight bulbs we have in our basement might be some of the issue of changing the color - not sure. Otherwise very satisfied with choosing these tiles.
