I decided to take a chance on kickstarter to buy a Hiplock after watching a video from Bennett’s insurance and seeing how robust the lock was to attack. It’s weighty and well made I’ve used it when touring on my Ducati multistrada and not had any issues it fits through the front wheel and both discs so going to be hard work for any thief.

The lock is superior to any other lock on the market. If your E-Bike cost more than 2 grand I would consider the expense is worth it. Quality is top notch. The smoothness of the lock chamber is impressive. The reason I couldn't give this lock 5 stars is because I can’t use it everywhere I go, it’s about 2” too short.

It's very difficult to review a lock as i hope it never gets tested. It feels really secure and strong. The carry case is a bit of a disappointment, it doesn't secure easily to my rack and on the frame it is in the way.

The lock itself seems fine/robust, but I haven't been able to use it because it's too large to fit into any standard u-lock carrier/bag. The biggest issue is that it's inconveniently large in comparison to other locks which makes it harder to carry on a bike.

So far, so good with the lock! It’s pretty imposing and my thought is would be thieves will move to the next bike when eyeing this lock. Only wish it had a option for a mount to the frame; it’s pretty heavy and it does not fit in the lock pouch of my backpack.

Great lock just wish it was a smidge larger as my cargo bike is not that manoeuvrable when parking up. Probably says more about the position/stands for non-standard cycles than lock. Peace of mind from grinder attack.

Not very secure, bike was stolen and the hiplok cable tie didn’t last 2 seconds, was cut straight through with cable cutters

Great build quality. Shame it's not long enough nor does it fit your existing hiplok anchor. Due to small size you're limited to where you can lock the bike. I hear a chain version is in the Pipeline? I look forward to that one.

I like the extra security I get from this lock but for the price it is not quite big enough to lock my e bike, the best I can do is to use it to lock one of the wheels and use other locks to secure the frame
